    Single malt is no different than other whisky in Scotland. It is not a single individual malt. It could be a blend of multiple malts. Its not even a single barrel, if 6 year just means the youngest barrel from the blend has to be at least 6 years. Singke malt simply means the whisky came from a single distillery. Sure it can be very good whisky but you can have better with a better selection of barrels & age and distillerys in Scotland will tell you this.
