    All last year and first of this year Williams was doing stupid stuff when didn't need to. Since back in the lineup he now looks solid, no silly stuff.

    David "Buddy" Arndt (class of 1939) won titles in 1941-1942 and 1946. The Jennings won back-to-back titles in 1941 and 1942, and Maxwell joined them on the winner's podium in 1942. Actually that^^^ looks like 4 titles in one year (42) not 3 finalists.

    Stayed with a couple (parents of my interpreter) in Ukraine couple years after breakup of Soviet Union. They were faculty at Kherson University so I'm guessing middle class or better. Plumbing but no hot water. The only thing to eat they'd canned from their garden plot previous year that went with the collective farm. Course that's been a while.

    Can't we just enjoy the fact that there are going to be some great matchups instead of worrying about whether what we think is going to be the perfect matchup happens in the finals? If I can get some good Iowa odds I'm still betting that the best wrestler wins the NC.

    Yes hell know what to work on, won't have to worry about Mesenbrink or Ramirez yet who already beat him. But there are tons of cards yet to be played. Olejnik & Mesenbrink face in 1.5 wk, what if Hall beats KOT at B12, what if KOT enters NCAA with 1 loss or 2 losses. Who has Mesenbrink beat ... etc etc.

    If O'Toole beats Carr twice in the next ~3 weeks and Mesenbrink is undefeated, I think Carr will be quite happy to not be on Mesenbrink Ramirez side. Everyone still gets the best 2 semis & final.

    Yeah he is right at 70% but has Buchanan and Glazier remaining so lose to either and drops below.
