You just answered your own question. US and Global studies is pretty universal, and there are a lot of classes that fall under that category. They don't have to be about gender studies.

So why did Trump pardon people who attempted to overthrow the transfer of power after a legitimate election he lost? Does beating up cops and rioting inside the US Capitol sound like something people should get away with because their actions were cheered on by the current person occupying the white House?

How is being transgender cheating? Nobody is transitioning or claiming a different gender for the purpose of winning at sports. Get your head out of your ass.

I don't believe that for a second. Nobody is forcing anyone to take a class like that they don't want to. Unless your daughter is majoring in gender studies or something like that. Now it may be on a list of classes to fulfill a requirement but nobody is forcing anyone to take that class. I took a similar sounding class in my second to last semester because I was an idiot and needed a class that met a requirement and that was all they had because I didn't register sooner. Mostly it was just about how there's differences in social norms between genders. Nothing exactly earth shattering. The professor who began the semester teaching stopped showing up after like the 3rd week, and they assigned some pencil pusher from the sociology department to fill in. It wasn't anything radically political or even approaching it.

I'll say this. Trump concerns me because I don't feel safe leaving the country and neither does my wife. We both have family overseas who can't come here for various reasons, and we don't want to cross the borders at all out of fear of what may happen when we return. I don't think a president should be inspiring those kinds of concerns.

We've only had one instance of this happening at the high school level here. And it turned out to be bogus because the girl in question wasn't transgender at all. It was the parents of a player from a rival school that made the accusation because they didn't like seeing their daughters team lose.

Craigslist used to be the wild West. You could find practically anything there. The problem is it wasn't regulated much, if at all, and people got up in arms that it contributed to things like prostitution, child trafficking, drug dealing, etc. But most of the ads were for other things. But that was where shady porn producers and other "adult" services used to advertise and recruit. After a while, a prosecutor in California thought it'd be a great idea to threaten Craigslist, so they took all those kinds of ads away and they went to Backpage.com, which was owned by two local guys who ran a chain of weekly alternative papers.

She showed up again at the Open this year to go 0-2 in under a minute total. She definitely likes the attention.

I think we all know what someone answering and ad for something like that on Craigslist really is about. If you see any of the interviews or any time she gets profiled says, she brings up how she is this tough person who competes in combat sports.

He pardoned the people who stormed the US Capitol, assaulted police officers and damaged property. He pardoned the people who did not directly participate but were involved with planning it. Why shouldn't he pardon the people in LA?
