  1. He didn’t lose on the scoreboard. But by the scoring of wrestling he did lose. Unfortunately this will help seeding and such.
  2. Here is the dual for those without flo:
  3. I think the NCWA growing could really help with this. Club programs could grow to be more and more respect and maybe eventually could be seen on par with D2/D3/JUCO/NAIA in that its “real” college wrestling, it’s also not about athletic directors who only care about football to determine their fate. The more I learn about the NWCA the more I’d like wrestling to somehow be self governed.
  4. This is why I think it’s so important to have D1 programs at all the ivies (6/8 currently) service academies, and other prestigious schools. Even if they aren’t great our HS athletes need the opportunity it compete in college at elite institutions. Imagine a wrestler who’s dream is to go to darmouth, can get in, and who also has the skills to be D1. It’s rare but some of these schools have $10B endowments and wind fund a sport for $300k a year or less.

  6. No I agree, but I can manifest both a champion and a team on the rise. Only 10 folks win each year and if Purdue has one that would be huge for the program. ill withdraw every penny from my 401k for an NIL deal for Joey Blaze’s younger brother (Marcus blaze) to go to Purdue…

  8. Braedon Davis being undefeated might mean something for seeding but it doesn’t mean anything to me. He lost that match Friday.
  9. The Bernie hate is warranted, appreciate it.
  10. Sorry, he can win it. I don’t think he will. Maybe my wording is causing the commotion. If we’re being honest there’s like 33 people that can win it when the qualifiers are finalized…. Let’s not be pedantic
  11. I’m trying to meet you in the middle, I’m giving you the other and doubting your most likely to be wrong (in my opinion), you tripping down shows your bias. Truax hasn’t looked good and is not beating Keck, his only shot in the semis is being on the other side, and making it there….
  12. Fair enough, I just don’t agree that Truax is a finalist or that Bartlett can win it.
  13. You just really love Penn State. Do you pray to Carl at night?
  14. I can’t speak for Okie States other duals but in this one it really felt like Missouri didn’t come to wrestle, rather thank Oklahoma being light out.
  15. It seems that 125 is finding some certainty with the UNANIMOUS numero Uno. Purdue is on the rise; Matt Ramos is ending the season on top of the podium.
  16. 6200, at 184 they said something along the love of “folks are stating to clear out” tough day for the tigers
  17. I know D1 wrestlers can wrestle for 14 minutes. They may be dog tired but they’ll fight and that would be awesome.
  18. I actually plan to post on YouTube! Be on the lookout for a link here in this thread after the meet. also just get flo, support our sport lol
  19. This will be streamed live on Flo, that is how I will be watching my first Okie State dual if the year. WrestleStat has this as #2 Missouri winning 18-12 over #4 Okie State. Should be another amazing meet for this weekend!
  20. Good for him! Get it young man!!!
  21. + 1 for therapy. I mentioned it in a post here the other day where I outlined my Friday pre watching wrestling schedule. therapy and sobriety
  22. All this thread is showing me is that wrestling could be 5x more entertaining with the right mixture of rules, at the detriment of the wrestlers lol
  23. I could really get behind Keep alternating sets of two 30 second periods until one person ends a period with more point than the other. it could lead to some 14 minute matches but we’d see guys battle and that’s what wrestlings about!
  24. Even on live events? The future is now! btw I don’t hate Lewan tbh.
