  1. “So you spend some money on streams of your choosing, but you don't value other streams enough to pay for them: so you steal them.” You hit the nail on the head with that one. If it’s any consolation I wouldn’t be able to watch it without the person proving it. I am part of the demand but your witch hunt of me is like imprisoning the kid with a gram of some drug rather than going after the person growing/making 100 pounds. Streaming was suppose to make life easier, instead everything is spread out everywhere. I’d easily pay a good amount for all wrestling being housed under one umbrella or company or service.
  2. You’ve heard that about Purdue? Ersland is old school Iowa style through and through. He has some other coach’s in the room that have other specialties other than grind-grind-grind, it’s not the cutting (as far as I know) it’s the brutal amount of live and red flag type days. I learned from the Young Bucks doc that Tom Ryan and OSU went ~1 month in season not wrestling live due to injuries. That’s unheard of, Purdue consistently has the most matches in season, and does crazy live in the room. Ersland thinks grinding is fun, and some kids do too, but the mindset in wrestling is shifting. I hate to sound negative, I love Purdue Wrestling and think they can be a great team under Ersland. I think people like Tyrell Todd and Kendrick Maple left due to their style not being able to be worked into the program. Too much focus on Iowa style.
  3. My understanding is they’re gone very soon as a conference? I recently learn of the idea of geographically based conferences and I couldn’t be more for that outside of Ivys and Big10. Cut down travel costs, create and foster rivalries. How do I get in charge of this shit?
  4. Although @BigRedFan just laid into me, sorta for a silly reason, you and he both are knowledge and bring up amazing points. I don’t follow Cornell very closely, obviously, since I was asking for an illegal steam. Vito very clearly has some medical issue, injury, or other. I worry about how he will perform come the post season since he’s sitting out so consistently and late in the season. Cornell doesn’t seem to just not give a shit about duals, they just do prioritize them over the post season, which is very fair. Thank you both for contributing!
  5. Don’t let the dude above us see this, you’re contributing to the degeneracy. Blatantly Promoting Theft. /s
  6. Bro this is the internet; you’re not going to change my mind. I have Flo Pro, BTN, and BTN+. I can’t justify buying every streaming service available just got a few duals a year I want. Even Ben Askren on FRL talks about illegally streaming lol. If anyone wants one I found this: https://youtu.be/LzCg8o9NnIo?si=bZdp9utJ33-iA22p
  7. Iowa seems like a school that will only hire Iowa wrestlers
  8. Great tangentially related point! Those dudes (the Brands Bros) put out for their kids and vice versa.
  9. Unfortunatly true- these MFers need to go to the real world or something man lol
  10. Copass has medically retired. Purdue has had atrocious luck at heavyweight (Shawn Streck, Eli Pokorney, Thomas Penola, now add Copass.) Marcos Polanco wasn’t on my radar until this year, due to being at Purdue. I can’t tell you anything there bc I don’t know anything. Purdue is constantly building and then getting knocked back. The constant gripe is overtraining leading to constant injuries and burnout.
  11. Someone point me to an illegal stream or replay? This is a good one and I want to avoid results in hopes that I can watch it essentially “live” on an illegal replay
  12. I know nothing about him but also find myself rooting for him when I know he’s wrestling!
  13. Tough dual meet for Purdue fans…. Couldn’t beat an illinois team redshirting half their starters smh
  14. That’s my first thought. Any school that could snag him would have preferential treatment from 10 nationally ranked HS students off the bat.
  15. This brings up a great point. How do I throw my hat in the ring?
  16. I watched all these today. Seems like a shitty all around situation, why would Flo pursue the non-compete to Willie who helped them so much. glad both groups seem to be doing well now.
  17. Chael is so knowledgeable about the sport it’s easy to overlook the loudness lol
  18. Appreciate it! Will save for tomorrow to watch.
  19. Willie mentioned on his podcast how he was “railroaded” by then but it was essentially nice to forgive and forget. where can I get a quick overview on the fallout?
  20. Ollie? Yes he was joking. I don’t find his persona funny is the problem. He hams up the worst parts of people from the east coast.
  21. Jason Bryant was being tongue-in-cheek? Or loud obnoxious constantly being a pick me girl Ollie was?
  22. Ersland is a great coach and greater guy. He creates great men and that’s more important than anything else. My biggest arguement for more wrestling programs is that it will make more successful self sufficient and driven young men and women. just love the dude for all he did and needed to share.
  23. really? He’s soooooo loud and obnoxious. He even had to make episode 1000 about himself when it was really CP’s day. I can only judge him from afar though, so what do I know.
  24. I like Askren, he’s knowledgeable and good for the sport. Multiple people in this exact thread have said similar. Maybe you’re just a hater of every man better than you bc deep rooted insecurity or something
  25. It was great to see Willie on the show! Sad to see Ben go but he will continue to be a great ambassador for the sport and a visionary. I love FRL. Minus Ollie, that guy sucks and I’d rather he go than Ben. Maybe they both can leave?
