Maybe it was an issue with his knee, both Hawks and KOT with the big Spencer Lee type of knee braces on. Neither had been close to scoring, idk if I seen a real attempt the whole match. Maybe the ISU kid is good in top, I haven’t seen much of him but the announcers said he’d lost 3 straight before yesterday. Down 1-0, I’m taking my chances regardless and choosing bottom.

Hawks #9 loses 1-0 to #10 Bachman of ISU. Hawks choose neutral in the third, which is both curious and questionable and couldn’t score a TD.

He did in High School yes, at Hartland Arrow Head. He coached Mitchell and Keegan as well at the same school. -

With him going today at 184 does this mean the shirt is off? Also since he went 184 and not 197, I know Hawks is hurt, is his injury more severe than initially what was expected? What doesn’t make sense is why not wrestle Sinclair vs Oklahoma where we had a chance to maybe win the dual instead of versus Plott today?

That lineup is dangerous. However Hawks and Sinclair would probably flip flop weights. I could also see Elam at HWY with Hawks, Sinclair at 184 and 97. Wouldn’t be surprised if Walker took a RS and Mauger slids in at 125. With Antonio Mills coming the lighter weights have flexibility for RS or ORS.

Do all those DQ’s belong to the opposition, or does that include his own DQ’s? He’s is a bit of a high flyer, but I don’t think I’ve seen any match or moves that would purposely hurt or injury another person.

Walker is going to be good IMO, close loses to both Richie and Lilledahl. Steed was up big before the injury default. Was close to a pin early. Hopefully he can remain healthy the rest of the way.

Rumor was Mizzou was after him and Hendrickson over the summer. Obviously neither happened, so maybe he’s an option for them next year. We have a top recruit coming in, but a RS wouldn’t be a bad thing.

I see it as good and bad. Monetary it’s great for the athletes. However the downside is what’s happening. One team buys up all the “free agents” like the Yankees. To stay competitive is the key, but the downside is the inability to mold, train and develop your own recruits.

Just makes sense. TnT needs it to workout. The only way they can try and keep up is in the portal.

Just my opinion. Whether it happens or not, who knows. But I definitely can see it.

I think they separated so they could try and stay out of trouble, prove that they can and before we know it, will all be back at Iowa. Kind of a prove to the brass type of deal.
