  1. You can include AI-VR-R in my letters. I just hope I live long enough to see artificial intelligence, virtual reality and robotics merge into the ultimate user experience. This will surely mark the end of humanity and I hope it is the one that our AI overlords grant us...
  2. He just got bested by USAW's best two-sport athlete. No one blended wrestling and striking as well as Burroughs. And "most complete" doesn't have to mean "best".
  3. I'll become much more interested in trans-women when doctors can make holes that surpass the vagina. I think that might mark the singularity.
  4. Dake is probably the most complete wrestlers USAW has ever had and without Burroughs, he would have a GOAT resume. Despite his brilliance on the mat, he is just as (in)famous for his some of his other antics. What is the first thing that comes to mind if someone said "That's just Dake doin' Dake things"?
  5. @DJT, where's the party at this weekend?
  6. What's the criteria? Top 4 by the eye test: 1. Taylor 2. Steveson 3. Dake 4. Snyder
  7. Mentioning him sort of tongue-in-cheek but he can still play spoiler.
  8. Was Doctor Rockso on the guest list recently?
  9. What I gathered from this thread is that @WrestlingRasta probably wants to bang Japanese hookers. And if Hunter's text messages are any indication, Rasta can take solace in the fact that he and the world-renowned monger won't be competing for the same talent... But back to the (supposed) point of the thread--I like Gomez's FS prospects. He always seemed better suited to MFS over folkstyle and 65 kg fits his body. But he will need to have a real good day at PanAms to qualify the weight. Let's face it, while Yianni caught lightning in a bottle last year, the odds do not favor the US or anyone else in the PanAm qualifier to place top 5 in Belgrade. And like Bob says, there will be a number of countries with wrestlers the caliber of Gomez in the qualifier: US, Cuba, Canada (ascending McNeil), PR (Rivera) and Destribats (LOL). I think a healthy Gomez can make some noise and qualify but it's far from a forgone conclusion.
  10. This and there is no close second. The de-industrialization of the United States will be (or is already) our undoing. We can handle all of the graft inherent to centralized government, as unseemly as it may be, if the vast majority of working class people could productively contribute to the economy.
  11. The only reason Hunter is +200 is that there is no way in hell they will ever find the culprit. Nice way to take in a some money and collect 5% on it for a month.
  12. As far as national anthems go, the USA's is pretty good. Besides, Ray Charles ain't topping this:
  13. @Radik of themat.com forums, how will the 86 kg champ fare against Taylor and Yazdani? I see Naifonov was in the bracket--has he just fallen off or is Bagaev the real deal? Naifonov never seemed to get close to the top two despite medaling at Worlds/Olympics.
  14. When I think of camel toe(s) on a college campus, this isn't what I had in mind.
  15. Are the dates for the event set in stone? As of a month ago I was under the impression that they may change the dates to accommodate the Asian Games.
  16. Apparently you didn't get the memo...
  17. Meh, the stock price of Tesla has gyrated over the last year and is currently almost double its 52 week low. The deal didn't look as bad in January and might not look as disastrous six months from now. The success of Twitter will likely depend on how nice Elon is willing to play with the US intelligence community and governments around the world. If his choice of CEO is any indication, it will be business as usual.
  18. Musk sold overvalued Tesla shares to buy overvalued Twitter. Not quite a wash but this isn't the self-own that some people wish it to be.
