Trying to decide if will head over. Can’t do all days. Would focus on Freestyle. Mens primary but very interested in Women too. Anyone know which days will be freestyle men? Women? UWW site doesn’t say. From what I can find at least.

Reffing is hard. Really is. I give credit to those that do it at all levels. Part of what makes it hard is the judgement calls. If not certain but need to make a call one way or other - that is stressful. The more certain of ref, less stress. But if coaches and crowds are uncertain or disagree - more stress again. I would like USA wrestling, and even UWW - to have public clinics where ref calls, that seem controversial but were right, were highlighted and discussed. Go into detail on the rule. Show the video. Highlight the position and the rule. Get coaches and fans better educated. Note, I didn’t suggest highlighting the wrong calls. Although that would be very transparent and the very best way to learn for all. I don’t see how this would occur though. Too much anger and finger pointing would occur. Instead, focus on the calls that got it right and explain.

Thanks for helping. I’m still confused. The no call vs Nolf for example, was exactly as you described. But there are other situations where a wrestler ties stuff up to get a stalemate.

Nolf just grabbed Dake’s leg as Dake attempted a gut. That was allowed. Stood back up. ????

Can we agree that 95+% of the must have is that the stream occurs and that there aren’t outages? If that occurs, I call it a win.

Bottom wrestler can’t grab a hand or foot / leg. Just saw ref tell Desanto to release Fix’s leg. So then it made it easy for Fix to get a gut. Seems like bottom guy can’t try to not get turned but he / she should try too hard or do something a normal person would try to do.

10 weights per ‘style’ …. Each style has own mat. 2pm to 4:30pm. 2.5 hours? 15 minutes a match? Too long. I hope they don’t have a ton of unneeded dead time between matches.

That was awesome!! Kudos to the show, Kelly and Mark. Mason too! Audience is not the typical wrestling fan set. Great to get some exposure to new folks. Kept it light and fun.

School brings it. Multiple guys in Final X. Now two guys on U23 world team. Is pretty much expected to be top 10 at NCAAs every year and often gets top 5. Multiple AAs every year. Shows they help guys transition to Olympic styles. Grey and his new coaching staff, and the leaders on the team, have done well in the transition away from Koll. I’m a biased fan. I admit. But trying to be objective I’m still damn impressed.

It is often covered by an ad that covers bottom of screen. There is a small ‘x’ in the top right of ad that suggests one can close the ad. Doesn’t freaking do anything. I’ve tried a ton. This is a BAD spot to allow an ad. I appreciate you all are trying to make money but please — need to fix this.

Perhaps it is the word ‘commitment’ itself that is being flagged as the wrong word to be used. Look up what commitment means. Am thinking the ‘sic’ would mean that it is fairy tale that an actual commitment is possible given the player and the world that the player lives in.
