    Spates is a very good announcer. He's probably not wrong here either. The level of young guys today is nuts. You're not wrong about dropping those guys in this environment and how good they'd be, but the level of wrestling is not comparable over the 50 year gap.

    Then say that Kerk has improved so much in two years that he could make it interesting. Don't claim that the same PSU coaching staff that was there last time will be the difference.

    Sam Hazewinkle. 4 total NCAA losses. Won 2012 olympic trials in FS and was 2008 olympic trials runnerup in GR.

    I think I'll draw big conclusions now. I don't get why everyone should wait until after the fact to draw conclusions. We aren't a bunch of analysts going over past data. We are message board fans commenting on what's happening right now. This would be a really boring place if we all just waited until after the season to have any conclusions.

    Pac 12s was my only previous trip. I think that had a bit more attendance than a dual and we still got great GA seats and had a great experience.

    I'm bringing my son Sunday. He was always more of a football guy (probably from growing up in Texas), but we made the trip to Corvallis in March for Pac 12s and he had a blast. He can't wait for Sunday.

    Does competing in college somehow prevent him from competing in freestyle against grown men? Did competing in college in the past stop him from beating those same grown men? Is there a reason his return to college wrestling would have a negative impact on his return to freestyle?
