The Braeden Davis era needs to end

I know he finished 5th a year ago, but he lost whatever mojo he had his first two years.  Honestly hope he's not a starter ever again at Penn State.  Given the talent in the wings this seems pretty realistic.

 

Bonus hot take: if Cole Mirasola can add 20-30 pounds of good weight this summer he can absolutely contend for a heavyweight title next year.  He's just too damn small at 220 pounds to roll with these 275 pound behemoths.

Agree on the first point. I said the same thing as the season was going on last year and it actually ended pretty well.

But how in the world are you expecting Cole Mirasola to add on 20-30 pounds of good weight? Looking at his dimensions, composition, and having an elementary understanding of physiology, says that’s impossible. Five pounds without loosing quickness and explosion would be a feat. If he weighs 250-260 pounds next year, he’ll be much worse Jimmy. You on the Playstation too often?

I think Davis is a fucking punk who can't hack it and is struggling with the pressure to move up and still win.  With that said, he had no intentions on competing this year to my knowledge and isn't a true 41.  While that is zero excuse for his actions and bs on the mat...it may be some good insight into his mind set.

My understanding is that he was walking pretty large when Nagao got injured. I was under the impression he was in the 150's or so.  I do not think weight is the issue. I do not think he will ever see 133 again.  I am not feeling good about him beating the North Western Freshman today.

He’s clearly not an untalented kid but he needs a good mentor in the worst way…I think that’s beyond obvious. He needs a program that can put the time and effort he needs into him while not being a detriment to their program…shouldn’t end an era just a wholesome new start somewhere else…

lol you guys are so full of sh’t. You read his stuff and you participate in it daily. Cmon man you have to admit he’s one of the cylinders that keeps this place firing. The only criticism I have of JC is he doesn’t fire back and he should. There’s a guy over at the non wrestling forum who takes a lot of incoming daily but he gives it right back 5 fold. He takes em all on. JC needs to respond back to those challenging his topics to keep dialogue interesting. Not responding to constructive criticism opens his threads up vintage Betty Crocker recipes.

I’m not here long enough to understand where the animosity comes from. This place would rock if there were 10 more like him always thinking out of the box with unique scenarios. He posts alot of stuff and some things stick and some things don’t. Those are the odds in life when we measure doers vs envious idling asses with no ideas of their own.

Oh stop already. Why don’t you just block him Porta? This way you don’t have to see what he writes. I’ve done that with several I don’t care for who I know don’t care for me. You should do the same since he upsets you so much. A mind free of criticism for others has a positive effect on the brain somehow. Not sure how that works but it does.
