Key first round matchups:

6 Gable Porter v 3 Ryan Jack; Porter won this during the season, but Jack is a higher seed due to his other ACC wins

6 Marlon Yarborough v 3 Zach Redding; Yarborough has not been at his best this year and Redding has taken a while to get some momentum, but Yarborough's speed and Redding's constant pressure should make for a good match

4 Sergio Desiante v 5 Nick Hamilton; Hamilton is a former ACC champ and Desiante has been wrestling top tier guys to the wire, this will be an important battle with only 3 qualifing spots

Those stood out to me, but I think there will still be a lot of close matches since everyone is so familiar with each other in the ACC.

165 and 174 stick out to me as weights where 3 or more guys have a very real shot at the last allocation or being left out

Stout has to get thru a very large Sasso first

If healthy, Gaj should win it all. He was basically one legged in the loss to uva. If he’s not, he will get a little more time heal up before the natty tournament if he struggles with mobility and Koy would then be my pick to win the ACC

I think Redding takes it and not just due to my bias as a State fan. Redding has really seemed to come on strong the last month or so compared to earlier in the season.
