I asked the question, then looked it up. I think he’s out of attached matches if NDI counted…but maybe it didn’t since I don’t think it was an NCAA event? If it did, he went against Minnesota, Illinois, Iowa, Michigan, and Little Rock. Then he was at the Cougar Clash (open tournament I believe, although he had 5 matches there too). Then soldier salute and Cyclone Open which I believe are both unattached.

All that to say…I have no clue how many matches he has left to keep his RS.

Its event not matches

Mendoza has only used 3 but maybe two dates.
National Duals count as one event (That is the duals with Little Rock, Michigan, Minnesota, Iowa, and Illinois)
Then the Cougar Clash.

The Soldier Salute & Cyclone open don't count against his dates cause they are after 1st semester

I should know this, but how many matches does Seth have left to keep his RS?

I think he's only wrestled attached at National Duals

I wouldn’t be shocked to see Mendoza go here. Walker had his redshirt pulled and should be the starter at 133 going forward, I’d be surprised otherwise. Mayfield is at 165 but got hurt in the finals at the Soldier Salute so Conway has been bumping up. Don’t expect it to be permanent unless Mayfield is ruled out for the year or something but haven’t heard that as a possibility.

What happened to Kade Moore that they pulled Walkers redshirt?

Seems your wish has come true. Obviously you and I wanted anyone but Kade at 33. Looks like that experiment could be a thing of the past. Will be interesting to see if Gage actually does take a RS later as both his first two yrs he was going to shirt, but eventually it was pulled.

Is Gage Walker the new starter at 133? He has been going the last couple of duals. Will it be Conway or Mayfield at 165?

Mizzou released this today and has Gage at 133.

Steed at #10. I get it, but if he stays healthy, I don’t see him not making it high on the podium.

i also hope to see Ben with Sinclair all the way through the NCAA tournament. If he’s strategic and pointed against each opponent (and has been help him strategize), he can win 184.

I think I’m going to brave the whooping I think we have coming and watch some fantastic young talent.  Looks like late night drive home.

[Steed] was a high school beast and has probably beaten every Cowboy he's faced.

He's 1-3 against OSU starters per Wrestlestat and 3-0 against OSU backups.

Safe travels and make sure you have extra warm clothes in your vehicle.  We're looking at 4 days of negative  digit lows in north Missouri.

My guess now is that Jax doesn’t go, although I hope he does. I’d bet they save his remaining 5 for #4 Frost (ISU), #11 Ayala (Iowa), #16 Campbell (VTech), and #18 Farber (UNI) to get him the best tests.

While I know they can do this, I don't see OKSt sending Jax out against the top 133s and then keeping his RS.  They would basically be sending a 133 without an allocation or seeding criteria into the post season.

You may be correct that he doesn't wrestle tonight, but if he continues to wrestle against the best competition then I don't think he will be staying in RS.

I don't think he'll go tonight but do think he will next weekend.  Rumor is three 133s made the trip.  They also need to protect Ronnie's RS till decision time.  Might see Figs tonight or could be Sam or Rin. We needed an airport report yesterday on 3rd guy off the jet.

That’s a great point. I didn’t think about what that does to the starter’s seeds  if Jax stays in RS. As a fan, though. I’d love to see him against the best but then still have 4 years of eligibility.
