Is there actually a match that anyone is genuinely excited to see? There are a few that I wouldn't mind watching, but they are hardly can't miss match-ups. The majority of the matches are so lopsided that they can't even peak a little bit of curiosity.

honestly the most recent addition of desanto vs Nico is probably my favorite.

That's an indictment on the event.

I am holding out hope with Bo on raf 3 we will get Jax and the gang and perhaps they can spice it up a bit. I don't know what logistics look like so I don't want to be too negative but all the PWL matches that are already announced are better than any match on this card.

I'm also not trying to be negative. It's just tough to spin these matches into an exciting narrative. I just don't see it getting much better going into NCAA season (granted I don't really care because we will have college wrestling). But I don't think it's good for the momentum of RAF.

Completely agree, I feel like they are trying to overly appeal to the casual fan base. If you cant get the hardos engaged then you have not shot of doing that.

side note did not mute the commentary its worse than I thought.

I agree. I think all but three are USA vs another country and most aren't likely to be competitive so it's just a facade of USA dominance. Green going up to 74kg to wrestle Salkazanov is probably the match I'm most curious to see, but I think Green is a pretty big underdog in that one.

Also, Megaludis and DeSanto continues to demonstrate that pulling out retired wrestlers is just pointless. It doesn't matter how good they "were."

any idea what weight salk vs green is at? if its 165 I think salk may beat him quite badly. I just cant see him splitting with Carr and then having a close match with Green.

On the other hand, I’d love to see Steveson vs Hendrickson or Parris.

Gable is probably the best guy they could get besides Khamzat or Bo I think that makes some semblance of sense.

165. I did forget that Russian's typically aren't anywhere near peak form outside of Worlds.

much much better than I thought. Fair point I am interested to see James at 74kg moving forward though.

Just realized they put probably the two most competitive matches 1,2 outside of the one we have already seen...

Romanov looks like he's been training hard for this event.

The point was that if Salk was cutting down a weight it would be been more interesting than Green going up to try and beat someone who just won a World bronze at a very good weight class.

USA heavy seemed like it was in such a good spot in 2021 and then again when Gable came back and Wyatt beat him... I do not feel very good about it anymore. (save us dreshaun)
