Just got back from school (homeless shelter). Taught (helped) a homeless guy how to look for a job.  I told him his self respect and determination can get him out of the hole he’s in.  I said you live in the greatest country on the planet and only excuses hold you back here.  He said he’ll give it a shot. Got him hooked up with a career specialist so we’ll see what happens.  Helping a fellow citizen feels good.

Update: Rocco now has a job at a loading dock!!!!!!!   He still says he’s going to make it work.  Next step is finding him an efficiency apartment close to the new job.
