Kazak takes it 9-8 for the bronze.

The crowd was behind the Kazak.

Yolo challenge by Jax corner...

Never argue with an idiot. They will only bring you down to their level and beat you with experience.

10-8 final score.

BUT... the future looks GREAT for Jax Forrest!

Cool story about the Kazak, he had apparently quit wrestling and moved to Texas to work manual labor when he met RBY, who convinced him to get back on the mat and now he is a world medalist

All learning experiences for Jax, I truly think he will go down as one of if not the greatest american wrestlers ever. One of the deepest weights and he was in every single match outside of some tactical errors. He also still looks like a boy its only up from here.

Dang. That’s about the worst way to lose after you thought you won.

scoring was a little sus. There were 3 turns in that first challenge. Should’ve been either 11-8 Kaz or 10-8 Jax depending on who you say initiated the last one… I think Jax but it’s a 50/50 at best. I think there definitely should have been 4 plus 2 for Jax earlier, but you aren’t going to challenge when they gave you 4.

But fun match. Other than that one position, Jax looked better. His future is bright.

Javan is good for his age but realistically he is probably like the 6th or 7th best guy in the bracket imo just got on the right side.

Uguev is so small.

I was thinking the same thing... that announcer w/ babbling on how both appeared to be the same size (but admitted that the Iranian has a better build.)

Yeah, not close. When they stood next to each other at the end for Uguev's hand to be raised Javan looked two weight classes bigger.

Kaipanov is slaying it in the bronze medal bout... OH if only he won his semis (PJ would've been in this match instead.)
