She felt compelled to go discuss her unpleasant experience paying for her own kids while getting wealthy off of her privilege.  It’s news worthy.  She could have just shut it and kept her 300m and not whined about it don’t you think?

Based on the thread topic.  Why don’t you find a whinier pettier First Lady?

To find a whinier first lady you have to go way, way, way back to the present. Remember her complaining about being questioned about refugee children when she was working her ass off on Christmas decorations? Or when she wore the "I don't care" coat while visiting a refugee camp? She sounds as whiny as you.

Drowning in data, but thirsting for knowledge

I promise to answer the question if you promise to stop whining if I do. Agreed?

I’m not the one whining.   Michelle is.   It’s in the video I posted.  Did you watch all of it ?

Honest question, since you are citing the video you posted, and speaking from the standpoint of “watching all of it”.  Did you watch the full interview, or even that full segment of the interview, before posting your edited 28 second clip, part of that 28 seconds of which isn’t even off the interview but added clips from unrelated material?

He’s not whining, he’s bringing the recent news that one of the things the former first lady considered a hardship while she was in the White House was that they had to pay for their own food and travel expenses for their kids.  You probably didn’t see that on MSNBCPMSNOW.  It was from her podcast, where she frequently disparages her husband and discusses her need for therapy, seen by many as her Woe Is Me production.

Incorrect, it was from an interview as a guest on Steven Bartlett’s podcast “diary of a ceo”.   I would ask you the same question as I asked of Caveira above, but you already answered with your ignorance.

When you realize even yourself your friends can’t think for themselves so you feel the need to answer for them….incorrectly as it may be.

To me it doesn’t matter what show she was petty on.  She was petty.  She is petty.      No need for privileged family with what four Ivy league degrees to assume they are entitled for the American tax payers to pay for their children.. for any reason.   Wonder where that mindset comes from.

So is the answer to my question, no?

Oh no, I missed that part.  What will I do with myself?  Such an important point, too.  Actually, she’s made similar remarks for years.  This is just the most recent.

Pray tell on what planet does it matter where she aired her petty complaints about supporting her kid.  If she was on the L train and some skid took a video with his IPhone and put it on TikTok.  Petty is petty.

$300,000,000.00 of net worth petty.

Since you’re refusing to answer the question…which I thought was something pretty important to you, I guess it depends on whether or not the question is comfortable for you….I’ll go ahead and correct you since it’s obvious the answer to my question is no.

To speak to both “why it matters” and your statement that it doesn’t matter to you, it matters depending on what is important to you.  If what is important to you is finding anything you can possibly find to b**ch and whine about someone you’ve been told not to like, then the only thing that matters is someone made a 28 second video on social media, edited with an agenda to push.  Even though we have already established we are not fans of interviews being edited for the sake of pushing an agenda (Kamala Harris for example).

But if what is important to you is making sure you know all of the information on something before making a fool of yourself and being a parrot, then it would matter to actually go and watch the full interview, or at least that full segment. If you had, you would have seen it was not at all a complaint in the post tense, but rather part of a much broader question and discussion on what they did to prepare for running for that office.   The part of that answer your 28 second video doesn’t show is her talking about preparations in regards to their children and what it would mean for them, the preparations regarding moving their family from their home and community, the preparations for the dangers of running for president and particularly attempting to become the first black president of the United States, along with, as it relates directly to the edited 28 second clip, the financial preparations leading up to it because they knew ahead of time the costs for them if he were to become president.   The discussion in the interview was managing those preparations prior to, not complaining about them after.

But….I know….that doesn’t matter.   Sorry to shine some light on your warm fuzzy.

Weird.   They had it so hard.   I’m sure their net worth is less than mine or the avg joes.   It’s hard to imagine them being successful in life with all the hardship described

Except…there was no description of hardship, but rather description of how they thought ahead expecting him to win. But your response to being accurately informed is one such as this, we see there is a deeper issue at hand.

You seem like a good guy.  And you obviously spend a whole lot of time……a whooooooooole lot of time searching social media for things you can post on an anonymous message board.  Might I suggest you use that motivation to benefit you, by using it to become better informed, rather than to your detriment and presenting yourself as a narrow minded, ultra biased hypocritical parrot.

Since it appears the clips and videos you find on your version of Twitter and TikTok and the like is how you comprehend, I have linked a video below to help you as it fits more with your information gathering methods.   I’m here for you, I will pray for you, and I wish you a good day.

Who is in the audience that needed to be informed that high on the list of considerations for applying for and accepting that $400k yr. job is food?  I can imagine the coal miner, the truck driver, even the doctor saying “it was a good job, but our food came out of our own pocket.”

Well it was a broad question and she gave a broad answer.  You can certainly have your emotions about one of the aspects she covered in talking about their preparation and managing a potential term as president, in an interview you’ve proven you know nothing about other than what the herd told you how to feel about it, but I was just clarifying the facts of the interview in question.  I’m certainly not trying to convince you of anything, I have no expectation of you falling out of the line on it’s way to the trough.
