Children are more vulnerable to malnutrition because their bodies are growing and require key nutrients. It takes a lot longer for an adult woman to starve than a toddler.

Adult women also have higher natural fat stores and are smaller than men, which is why men starve faster than women.

I’ve seen the picture, uncropped, and her younger brother is standing to the right, as you look at it, and he looks perfectly fed.  How does that fit your argument that men and the youngest suffer most?

Hamas has never agreed to anything more than a partial release of the hostages.  They have communicated the only way they’ll release them all is with full removal from Gaza along with an exchange of prisoners.
