Overall, I like him.  He has some good quests on that results in entertaining conversations.  I don't like everything he says but for the most part it is entertaining when I have listened to him.

Same.  Don’t agree with everything.  But he’s as open minded as there is out there.  Not afraid to see a different view, and not afraid to change his mind if the circumstances call for it.

His standup is also hilarious.   IMO at least

He's very very fortunate to have been in the right place at the right time. As far as his podcast, he's an idiot. I don't know why anyone takes anything he says seriously.

So…..has nothing to do with putting in the work, time, commitment, working hard and working smart? He’s just very very lucky.  Nothing really to do with his decisions and actions…that’s what you’re saying?

Can you be a little more specific about his idiotness. Is it that he’s truly an idiot, or just that you don’t agree with him.   Not arguing with you, just exploring your thoughts.  With 11 million listeners per episode, your take is an interesting one.

there's tons of value to that show, and you're an idiot if you say otherwise.

same thing with Alex Jones.

say anything you want but the fact is many of the things they talk about that are considered faux pas and conspiracy become public record and ubiquitous truth in time.

With you in that on Rogan, Alex Jones is a complete douche canoe.  Rogan looks at things through his own goggles with an open mind and speaks what he feels about it. Jones will throw any kind of shit at the wall and sees what sticks.   This was blatantly obvious even during his testimony on the stand for Sandy Hook.   There’s a major difference between the two.  For everything Jones says that is true, there are four to five things he says that are complete bulls**t.

Rogan speaks his mind and grew an audience.  Jones grew an audience and panders to them.  Big difference.

Rogan just has a lot of interesting guests, many of which are full of bs. It's entertainment, not a reliable source of info. Obvious right wing tilt. Has many more wingers than liberals. I find some of them interesting but they typically have their own agendas so are rarely 100% truthful.

Ì agree jones is completely different. Radical right winger with a conspiracy literally around every corner. He mostly "educates" the listener on his own crazy views, whereas Rogan let's his guests do it.

Rogan is one of those old school lefties converted to the right…. I’ll find it but he was talking about a topic the other day taking the liberal side of the argument so he is not a winger.   To use your words

Rogan was a career C lister in the entertainment world. This is a guy who was credited after Andy Dick on a B level sitcom, which was his biggest success to date then. He was the only "celebrity" willing to be part of the UFC when they were barely hanging on, and landed his hosting gig on Fear Factor because of that. If the UFC hadn't become a thing, he would forever be known as the slightly douchy guy who hosted a show where he watched you eat cow testicles.

His podcast isn't particularly insightful or informative. It got to be a thing because people associated him with the UFC, which blew up in the mid aughts, and somehow being a commentator for MMA makes you an authority on things. His guests range from people who would starve if somebody didn't remind them to chew, to people who shouldn't be allowed out in public without supervision or off their medication. Occasionally he's going to have an insightful or meaningful guest, but it's overshadowed by the crass stupidity he brings to the table.

Mildly wrong lol.  He’s hilarious and a superstar these days boss.   Not liking him doesn’t change that.

Popular, not highly respected. I don't know any educated people that listen to him regularly.

Why do so many people watch it then?
