I didn’t write this excerpt.   I stole it off of fb.   Much of it is true to me from my perspective.  I listened for years.  I started in the 90s in high school.   I purchased satellite radio when it was new to listen to Howard.  I thought it was a good write up.  I too gradually stopped listening around the start of Covid.

Nobody's been a bigger Howard Stern fan than me. Listening since he started on WNBBCCC , I was a extra in the movie Private Parts, I created a amazing group on fb Stern Facebook Superfans.  I stopped listening to Howard before the pandemic, as it just wasn't fun or funny to me anymore. The show thrived on the interaction of the staff and when they started doing the show from home it lost so much of the fun . I listened and loved The Howard Stern Show and wanted to laugh and not get lectured everyday....Thank You Howard for the many years of amazing radio....

Howard Stern is DONE—and we’re celebrating.

The “King of All Media” died years ago. What’s left is a bitter, washed‑up hypocrite who hides in his Hamptons mansion lecturing the same audience that made him rich.

He went from:

🔥 Savage outsider who roasted everyone
to
💩 Whiny, woke, overly political, celebrity‑boot‑licking sellout

He stopped being funny.
He stopped being relevant.
He became exactly what he used to mock—a soft, scared, corporate puppet.

SiriusXM flushed hundreds of millions paying for a man who turned his show into a boring woke Hollywood infomercial. He’s been phoning it in for YEARS while spitting on the working‑class fans who built his empire.

Howard Stern didn’t get canceled.
He got exposed—irrelevant, gutless, and forgotten.

This is MAGA cancel culture at work yet again... Everyone can try to explain away with all the anecdotes they can think of but very simply- cancelled by maga because he hurts their feelings... It's cool when he craps on other people but as soon as you crap on them it's "they're not funny anymore"

This is literally the same with all comedic people/shows that they used to watch/listen to before trump came along and now because the comedians point out the absolute absurdity of their positions "they're aren't good anymore..." SNL, Chapelle, Colbert, John Stewart, Stern, John Oliver and the list goes on and on....

If I had a nickel for every time I hear or see MAGA people say:

"I haven't watched that in years, they haven't been funny in a long time..."

"SNL is trash, they just make fun of MAGA  now, can't believe it's still on the air!"

Like just be honest with yourself, you don't agree with them pointing out MAGA absurdities. It's still funny to a lot of people just not "you"...

It's almost like you haven't even been alive that last 4+ years...this has been rampant well before the R's took over...some could say it was way worse.  By the way, care to use actual data/facts/logic to back up your comment that "SNL, Chapelle, Colbert, John Stewart, Stern, John Oliver and the list goes on and on...." were canceled because of "MAGA" (whatever that is)...and aren't each of those still going/performing???

I honestly don't have the energy right now to explain cancel culture and MAGA and bla blah blah to you... You would only come back with more ridiculous questions to that response so I'm not getting on that carousel.

So you can't...got it!

Why is it that some of you run when asked questions about your take on things??

The only response that I can give to the above quote that's even remotely able to reach far enough down to your level is:

I am rubber and you are glue and whatever you say bounces off of me and sticks to you!!!

The dumb wingers celebrate whenever ANY liberal-leaning show gets canceled.

Do the liberals celebrate when a conservative gets canceled?

Of course they do... but the liberals aren't denying they engage in cancel culture- you are. Two sides of the same coin.

And please don't ask me my age again, it's really creepy and especially from someone that supports the party with the guy in charge that was always hanging out with Epstein...

I'm too old for you and MAGA, leave me be!

Please point out where I said conservatives don't engage in cancel culture...I merely would like to know, of the people you claimed were canceled, how conservatives "canceled" them??  You refused to answer.

LOL about the age thing...your posts show your maturity or lack there of

an objective look at maga cancelling stern:

Stole the excerpt below the ____ line from fb. Imagine a sales guy alienating half his book of business…. SiriusXM is driven by ratings and $$$   If he really said this is this really being cancelled or is it just being dumb?   His ratings have been on a steady decline for 15+ years now and so have Sirius  subscriptions

those that think maga cancelled Howard are silly.   Look at Sirius stock price since 2017/18    It’s down 75% ish.    From ~80 to ~20.   As the late Ben stern would say to Howard —> don’t be stupid.   Shut up sit down.

How many of you libs are HODL Sirius shares?  Put your money where your ideology is….

🔥 Howard Stern TELLS Trump Supporters: “Stop Listening to My Show!” 🤡

Yes — he actually said it.

Howard Stern went on-air and told Trump supporters to “F— off” and stop listening to his radio show.

He called us:
• “Stupid”
• “Dangerous”
• And said he has “no respect” for anyone who voted for Trump.

🎙️ And now that President Trump is BACK in the White House, Stern is melting down.
The same guy who made millions pushing boundaries now wants a safe space from conservatives?

Conservatives hated Stern for years because he would call them out for being hypocritical, but they couldn't say the same about him because he was married for a long time and never cheated on his wife, so far as anyone really knows.

Isn’t there a scene (based on true story) in his movie naked with some hot chick ….  My wife would consider that cheating boss.

I have a question about cancel culture.  If I choose not to partake of a certain entertainer's entertainment am I engaging in cancel culture?  If I don't call for boycotts?  If I don't disparage the person's character in public?  If I don't ask authorities to remove the person's ability to make a living via debanking or deplatforming or any other means of affecting the person's access to deliver his entertainment?  If I don't shout him down so that he cannot deliver his entertainment?

Choosing not to partake is not cancel culture.  I listened to Stern years ago but would not pony up the $$ for Sirius.  I would listen to him in the morning and Limbaugh at noon.  I think I am not an outlier in that.

Late night, Stern, et al are not being cancelled.  They are self-withering into irrelevance.  And Chappelle is not in that group of those "cancelled by MAGA".  But he does rile up everyone and for that i watch everything he puts out.

P.S.  I still think Trump is a steaming pile of dog feces I was forced to select over the options the Dems presented.

No way, except when I get a free trial. I just listen to podcasts. Several hrs per day.

So you’ve never invested in Howard stern.   I did for years and years over 4-5 different automobiles… for the record.    And you are pissed some are done with his comedy.  You’re pretty classic.  You don’t own Sirius shares either do you.

I don't really care about Howard Stern. Not my type of humor anyway. I just find it funny that the wingers celebrate any time a liberal leaning show ends. They just want their echo chambers.
