The article doesn't reference the teen's political affiliation. What's your point?

Fair enough, as long as we also agree we don’t know if it’s liberals committing gang violence in Chicago

Gang bangers don't care about anything other than their territory and extortion. The mafia at least tried to be discreet.

Sure about that ?

Gangs and Politicians in Chicago: An Unholy Alliance

The former chieftains, several of them ex-convicts, represented some of the most notorious gangs on the South and West Sides, including the Vice Lords, Gangster Disciples, Black Disciples, Cobras, Black P Stones, and Black Gangsters. Before the election, the gangs agreed to set aside decades-old rivalries and bloody vendettas to operate as a unified political force, which they called Black United Voters of Chicago. “They realized that if they came together, they could get the politicians to come to them,” explains Baskin.

The gang representatives were interested in electing aldermen sympathetic to their interests and those of their impoverished wards. As for the politicians, says Baskin, their interests essentially boiled down to getting elected or reelected. “All of [the political hopefuls] were aware of who they were meeting with,” he says. “They didn’t care. All they wanted to do was get the support.

Why are you so worried about if those committing crimes are liberals or conservatives??  Maybe spend more time worrying about crime and how to stop it...PERIOD!

What does she have to say about protecting black and brown in Chicago is the topic at hand.    I haven’t seen her Israel stance.   I don’t follow her

The illegal alien murderers criminal history

Yordanis Cobos-Martinez, the man charged in the September 2025 Dallas motel beheading, has an extensive criminal history across multiple states dating back to at least 2017
.
Prior criminal record
  • Florida, 2017: Arrested for grand theft auto after stealing a Mercedes-Benz in Miami-Dade County.
  • California, 2017: Charged with carjacking and false imprisonment after he allegedly attacked a woman in South Lake Tahoe. He was acquitted of the carjacking charge but convicted of false imprisonment and placed on probation in August 2023. He later violated this probation.
  • Texas, 2018: Charged in Harris County with indecency with a child. The charge was later dismissed for lack of evidence, but he was convicted of a misdemeanor assault related to the case and served one year in jail. While in jail, he was charged with aggravated assault for breaking a jailer's jaw.
  • Immigration custody, 2025: Cobos-Martinez was taken into U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) custody at some point. He was released on an "Order of Supervision" in January 2025 because Cuba would not accept his deportation due to his criminal history.

So Florida, Texas, and the Feds had him in custody and let him go without deporting him.  California is worthless, of course, but this one is not on Biden nor the libs.   2017, 2018, 2025 who was the President and Governors?  Every person who let him go back into the American population must face a professional competence review.  The justice departments and courts EVERYWHERE IN AMERICA must be reminded with extreme urgency whom they serve and whose process is more due than anyone esle's.

People who tolerate me on a daily basis . . . they are the real heroes.

No one liberal on this board will agree.   Is my theory.   They won’t even express remorse for the family of the deal people.

@1032004 we would like your opinion.  What was the right decision here on past arrests?
