WTT Finals were wrestled on a college mat

Seemed weird to me since they had freestyle mats at the arena.

What's the circle size difference; do you know? If there is one, it might have made a difference on some pushouts or TDs.

The circles on college mats are between 32 and 42 feet in diameter. Freestyle mats are 9 meters (29.5 feet), a seven meter central wrestling area and a 1 meter passivity zone all around.

Seems especially weird (and amateurish) because there is no passivity zone on a college mat, but you are right, the videos I saw are on college mats.

Tere was no  "zone" on the finals mat.    USA wrestling can't even use FILA regulation mats.

Wow for real? I had no idea there is such a difference in mat size for college. Crazy.
