He got a FREE plane worth $400 million that would have had to be paid for.   Brilliant Move.

Who’s in charge of the Trump library?   That plane will be an asset in the Trump library.  Worth money.

Nothing had to be paid for at all.  He is currently flying around the country just fine.  But you are right HE (not the US, not the taxpayers, not the next president) got a free $400 million plane from a foreign government that I'm sure was out of the goodness of their heart.

Correct.  He got an asset worth $400 million for FREE.   An asset that once is turned over to the Trump library becomes federal property.

Why do people keep saying this is a gift to Trump when it wasn't?  And where did this idea come from that Trump gets to keep the plane after his term??  Everything I read indicates it was a gift from one country's DOD to our country's DOD, NOT to Trump.
