Truzz- if we are talking Bachman and Fargo, the reason I think he was not there is because he wrestles for PR which I dont think would allow him to compete there. Kind of part of the rules that have come out with country transfers etc. I think if a kid represents another country they are not allowed to wrestle in Fargo. I am pretty sure this is the case now when an athlete transfers to represent another country.

that would make sense because he was at one point on the registration list but ended up not going so he could have been notified. I'm sure it was not the result he was hoping for but I thought Dean looked good wrestle Wolbert really tough for most of it kids got a crazy bright future.

Winners- Yeah my understanding is a little wonky for sure. However, I know there was some stuff in place that keeps some kids from competing for sure. I think it is in place to keep kids here competing for USA. I also think kids that represent other countries also cannot attend the OTC. IDK.

I would bet Willie has some insight on it.

Truzz- Wohlbert is a monster with the chest wrap stuff, like he is elite there and so if you are going to beat him you are going to have to win those exchanges, which obviously Dean did not. They had a match at PNL 10-10 (KW won as well) but was goofy with one man mechanics and no review. KW was better at Fargo and had a hell of a tournament, hats off to him. We flew home Thursday and Dean was back in the room that night working out with the Larkin boys on his own accord. Wrestling is hard and he embraces everything that comes with it. Appreciate the kind words. Kinda goofy he placed at U20's but not Fargo but it is what is, wrestling is hard all the time....FWIW I think his best wrestling is still very much in front of him.

That weight had a ton of killers I think it was the deepest weight there with 126. Thats great to hear and just shows how much he loves the sport. Looking forward to following his career only bigger things to come!

8/4 First official day of home visits....Should be a busy week. Interesting to see if anyone verbals or to soo what schools visited kids. Always lots of these posted on social media. Out west most schools are back in school, but think most Eastern/Midwest schools are not so wonder if that affects things. Either way good stuff.

There are kids who wrestle Fargo and compete for other countries. Kayden Hanlon was at Fargo this year and 2 weeks later competed at U17 Worlds for Great Britain.

Cornhusker- I would bet the Nebraska Prospect Camp would be a good place to kind of start to get an idea who they are in on. I think that camp has 40 ish kids come in and the kids are from all over. It is post 6/15, but I would guess if they are there they got a call on 6/15.

Any insight into who attended?

Huskers20- I know that Youngblutt, Noah Bull, Hayden Schwab, Ben Ziola, Gage Lohr, Caden Woodall, and Dean Anderson were there from what Dean told me. Not sure past that. It was their FS camp they run during the summer.

Thanks, that's insightful. I wish we had access to more content like that as fans

Husker- probably hard to do, but I only know because Dean went, so there is that piece of it. I am sure there were a lot more really good kids there as well. Nebraska does a great job and that camp is a really good prep for Fargo for any kid serious about placing high there. I am sure they are all over it on the recruiting trail. Hard to pin down everything that happens in the recruiting process for schools, but kids social medias give some insights as to what visits are happening etc. Dean mentioned two last night, said ISU visited Sonny Amato and Va Tech visited Clinton Shepherd, both legit hammers.
