He did.  That said, I thought that early 2 exposure was Garrett’s.  Still, Jax was better.

Agreed. Nashon didn't have his challenge brick at that point unfortunately. Still, Jax looked amazing

Dan Cardenas with 4 pt move on Yianni.
5-4 after Yianni lost challenge and got TD.  6-5 Yianni after scramble and exposure on Cardenas.  8-5 TD Y.  2nd TD Y.  10-5.  Good.  Glad to see Yianni on fire.  4 pt. 14-5.  16-5 Yianni after a pivot on his head with no exposure.  He is good at that.

Wait!  Gave exposure?  14-7.  Now 16-7.  Gut.  18-7.  Now done.

A lot of action in that match!

Andonian in lead 4-2 vs Pantaleo. Got a nice feet to back.  P injury time? 1 pt penalty against A.  Why?  Anyone see that?

A wins 4-4.  But was near getting hit with fleeing at end

Davino, Forrest, and Blaze - we have three out of four semifinalists at 57 KG with all four years of eligibility remaining.  could be a golden age at lightweights if they all stay down

61kg, right? and then 57 has LL

Simon Ruiz - kinda has come out of nowhere.  Don’t hear anyone talking about him.  AA this year as a freshman (grey shirt I think).  In tight match with Kharchla.  3-0 lead in second.

close win.  3-2.

Is Rocco Welch wearing a Kyle Dake Singlet?  KD?

Welsh has elite hand fighting but needs to add another attack or two. He has that outside step swim hi-c but not a whole lot else.

Endene not doing all that well vs Ethan Laird.  Laird showing higher wrestling IQ on OOB line.  Also moving well.  Endene showing offense.  Just not effective.  4-0 L in 2nd.

Now 6-2 as Endene gets an exposure but then Laird exposes Endene.  Endene corner with a very very bad challenge.  Maybe didn’t have the right viewing angle.  Should not have challenged if so.  Lung timeout effectively?

Challenge lost.  7-2 Laird.  Done.

Seems like a good guy (listened to Flo interview) but I think he is going to have a rough time in D1.

Laird isn't exactly a scrub, he is also very, very tall while Endene is pretty short

I think Endene is going to fair better at 197 lb than at 213lb. Laird was 6th a couple years ago with a 23-4 record..

Fair.  Didn’t mean to imply he is a scrub.  Still, Endene didn’t show anything that made me think he will do well.  Perhaps more credit to Laird is deserved.

Just watched match.  Score board people had big issues.  Lots of confusion  with a ton of time to get it figured out.  Had Zilmer with criteria.  Now Thomas being shown with criteria 6-6 with 40 sec left.  Went a while with Zilmer thinking he was winning.

Zilmer gets body lock - he had been getting in this position earlier.  Tries throw but literally falls on own back and bounces.  Thomas NEVER close to exposing.   Time ends.

2 pt correct throw awarded!!! And confirmed!!!  For Zilmer!!!  But thank freaking god Thomas team throws brick and it is overturned.  Thomas wins.

WORST FREAKING RULE IN WRESTLING … correct throw.  Glad it didn’t screw Thomas here.
