I have seen IaWrestle's list (37) and there are a couple still on the list at are staying at Iowa State and going to the CRTC or club wrestling and won't be in the portal.   I couple others that are just giving up wrestling and staying at Iowa State and also won't be in the portal.  These are mainly walk on or low scholarship guys.

I think Iawrestle has only updated their list when someone enters the portal or publicly states they are doing something different.

even before NIL - I remember seeing a documentary about 90s college football players and there were several of them that got sent through - graduating college - and into the NFL - without even being able to read at an elementary school level.

Dexter Manley is a former professional football player known for his time as a defensive end in the NFL. He played for several teams, including the Washington Redskins. Manley attended the University of Oklahoma and, despite spending five years there, revealed that he was functionally illiterate after graduation

Was he the one who was partially blind?

Some of the wrestlers will move to the RTC and you might not see that change to roster for a long time.

Willie says you can’t be added to the roster mid season apparently?

I would think you would have to have your list of thirty. I never imagined guys could be bounced back and forth between Rostered and RTC...

Yeah but are these rules and and who's going to enforce those rules if they do actually exist?  Some football coaches have been talking about doing a Spring practice scrimmage against another team, NCAA says no but coaches are saying what can the NCAA do about it?

No idea, but if you have to turn in a list of your thirty rostered wrestlers it doesn't seem to hard to track?

Then again we had a kid ruled ineligible after his conference tourney...:classic_dry:

It's going to get worse. Conferences and programs are already entertaining pitches from venture capital and private equity firms. Up front cash in exchange for an off the books loan and/or equity interest, which is a little bit of a red flag. Big 12 is particularly aggressive about this because Yormark wants his conference to keep up with the big boys. B1G is working with Evercore and taking preliminary bids from institutional funds/PE in advance of the House settlement.

Brings back memories. I'd scarf down tons of sugar-free Jello when cutting weight. It was a godsend.
