so tired of this.  psu is the yankees of wrestling.

PSU's current dynasty is still tiny compared to those of Iowa and Oklahoma State, for historical perspective

Well if that's the case, PSU is needing a HWT, I wonder how Zare does in folkstyle.

I don't like this committing and then changing minds.   Committing means nothing anymore.  Good for PSU but not so good for VT.

The lack of self awareness in this post is awesome.

Don’t be all Confucius like without reading the full chain. He chose to engage, not me

If you don’t see the problem that the kid created, not by getting “paid” but the manner in which he did it, then you are clueless and hopefully not procreating or raising or mentoring boys to be men.

Your demeanor speaks volume.

its A free market, you whiney commie. so he should have stayed where he originally committed and taken less money? LOL you are a dumbass and a judgemental pussy.

The Romans won for 300 years, way more than Iowa or Ok. State

I agree that we're now under a free market system for college wrestling.  The problem for that is going to end up being, it doesn't make any money.  So we'll likely end up as a club sport.  We exist off the largesse and charity of donors and football (and to a lesser extent, basketball).  That's a problem for tomorrow, though, and not technically Cael's (or Brands' or any individual coach's) responsibility.

Oh honey, I’m not bitter the kid is maximizing his opportunities, like I already said. It’s the way he conducted himself.

And I still say you shouldn’t procreate or be involved with mentoring. Commitment and allegiance used to mean something. Go ahead, call me another name, you’ll sleep better and be happier person, right?

Right. I thought NLI wasn't a thing anymore though and that things are sort of up in the air with the whatever-will-replace-NIL agreement until the House Settlement is finalized.

I don’t know how NIL works, but NLI is the contract between schools and athletes that identifies specifics for the scholarship.

Typo: whatever-will-replace-NLI agreement

It doesn't take Confucius level wisdom to laugh at a post that says don't procreate and says the other guy's demeanor is bad.

I'll take your word that the other guy was bad first, and I'll still chuckle at the post.

Good point. I’m man enough to admit I was wrong.

The Yankees can only wish they had PSU's success

The last time the Yankees won a World Series was 2009, which coincidentally was when Cael joined Penn State. Since 2009 Penn State has won twelve titles under Cael, so we're gonna' have to choose another Dynasty for comparison : )

Didn't VT get screwed over by another school a few years back too?

The same way Iowa State did by one of their own a few years later?

Vak was making a simple and true post about and for VT and you come in with your waste of space knowledge and try and make it about Iowa.
