A perennial trophy contender the past 15 years, really struggling to compete currently. Losing long time assistant coaches Alex Clemsen and Joe Johnston has proven to be a slow decline to the program each season. Clemsen has had a slow upward trajectory at Maryland.

Hopefully Sinclair will be better than O'toole at pitching the school to the other Askren kids.

Penn State, UNI, and especially Minnesota are snapping up Wisconsin's best.  It used to be that they'd pretty much be a lock for Mizzou.

Lost 125 and 197 for year with injury.  Elam(285), Mocco, Mauller, graduated.  Moore at 133 has not been the same since he was repeatedly stabbed with a broken bong by a girlfriend’s ex jilted lover.  Hard year this year but have what appears to be a really good recruiting class coming in so should be turned around in a couple years

I’m the first to defend Mizzou. I realize we lost Surtin and Elam, there have been injuries, and there have been illnesses. But ffs…something is not working. The entire team seems HEW. Hopefully Moore never steps in the lineup again with Mendoza coming in. Sure, he had the injury, but what is “Tigerstyle” about putting yourself in a situation to get stabbed by a bong?! Edmond was R12 last year and this year can’t even be bothered to put his foot on the line in neutral, takes his sweet *ss time coming back to center, etc. Giofree and Conway need to go. Steed (I thought) was a bright star, yet takes a step back on every whistle and gave up 2 stall points because of it. And legit seems to get hurt every time he steps on the mat. Hawks, who I love and have seen since LL, majorly disappointed at B12’s and looks like a shell of the R12 guy he was last year. And we lost Whitting (and possibly Harman) to stick with him. Hell, even Keegan looks HEW, and we know Rocky is.

I don’t know if it’s the training regimen pushing to injuries, lack of motivation, or what, but something’s gotta give. Yes we have a great recruiting class, but we can’t afford to lose them because something is off.

Throw a bunch of money at Sammie Henson and J’Den to come back. Pull the Miller brothers back from Maryland and Fugitt back from Wiscy. Re-establish the Askren pipeline. And ffs figure out how to stop the injuries. Penn State had what, Braeden Davis get injured this year? How do they manage to keep everyone healthy and we can’t?!

Still love Mizzou and venting a little (a lot), but something has to change.

What happened to zeke seltzer?  He was a really good in hs. Feel like they put him in wrong wt class

RSFR year he was 133 and did well. He was the starter at 133 at the beginning of last season and did decently, but couldn’t hold the weight. K Moore was inserted at 133 and Zeke was the backup at 41 and 49. This year he had some starts at 49 when Gioffre was out with injury but didn’t do bad, but not great. Had some wins but several bad losses. Not sure what his best weight is, and maybe it’s 141, but I don’t believe he beats Edmond. Which is kinda telling with how bad our lineup was this year. I was excited when he committed but not every recruit works out. He has 2 years left, hopefully he can break through and do well for himself.
