Many of the high end coding jobs require PhD or masters degrees. I have a bachelors in computer science and was a coder for fortune 100 (non tech) companies. I don’t code any more but back when I did I don’t think apple or companies like that were an option with only a bachelors degree. Gov workers are probably (most of them) not qualified to work for apple.
