Best moment of Trumps presidency so far. Surrounded by young girls signing the EO to ban males from women's sports.

Prophylactic for what?  Not covid

Yes, for Covid, and others.  Just do a search for “is ivermectin  an antiviral” and read to your heart’s content.  It’s not claimed to be a cure, nor a vaccine, but when used early or before exposure, it can provide relief.

Regular Use of Ivermectin as Prophylaxis for COVID-19 Led Up to a 92% Reduction in COVID-19 Mortality Rate in a Dose-Response Manner: Results of a Prospective Observational Study of a Strictly Controlled Population of 88,012 Subjects

First of all, kudos for actually posting a specific study, and not a link to “c19ivm.org.”  Unfortunately however, like nearly all of the studies on that often-shared site, this one isn’t very good.  It’s an observational study, not randomized, and didn’t really have “88,012 subjects.”  When they trimmed the numbers down (probably to get rid of results they didn’t like), they were only left with 283 “regular users” of ivermectin.  It also wasn’t randomized, and the results can be explained by things other than the treatments: https://www.medrxiv.org/content/10.1101/2023.08.10.23293924v1

Oh and the authors were funded by an ivermectin manufacturer…

Why are people that are not pharmacologist's arguing about a drug that if it works for you it works for you...who the F cares???

Thank you for agreeing that Riley Gaines shouldn’t be shilling it with a promo code

Why shouldn't she be??  You do realize that 99% of pharmaceutical sales reps are NOT PhDs...right?!?!  And since when is it a bad thing for someone to make money legally??

I actually don’t think a person’s credentials should matter as much as the information they’re sharing.  But it’s hypocritical for you to say someone that’s not a pharmacologist shouldn’t “argue about a drug” and then have no issue with Riley Gaines profiting off of suggesting that ivermectin cures.  If you don’t see that I can’t help you.

And to answer this question, as I said earlier I had no issue with people taking ivermectin.  Where I “cared” was when it was being recommended as a replacement for the vaccine when it was shown to be not nearly as effective (like Gaines did in that video).

This thread should get back on track.   How does Payton mcnabb feel about getting hurt by a male in volleyball?

Nearly 80 percent of Americans don’t want men playing in women’s sports

The highest bracket that believes men should be allowed to play in women’s sports are Democrats

Men in women’s sports has become an issue in recent years, with high school girls such as Payton McNabb getting injured by a male competitor on a volleyball team
