China Watched Trump Fold; Decides To Fight Back Too

His credibility is shot and he is now seen as a weak leader. He said he would increase the tariffs even more if Canada or Mexico retaliated. Instead, he did the opposite and folded like an accordion (claiming to be the hero because they agreed to do what they actually agreed to a long time ago and $1.3B is a joke BTW). He better check his diapers because I think he poopsied himself again.

Just #2. Re: #1 & #3, I don't really have any feelings toward him or even America. I think both suck though. It's sad that we used to be the greatest country in the world. Now, I only stay here for my family.

Can't make them leave. Besides, two of them are adults and in college. I'm also married. She has similar feelings but stays here for her kids, parents, etc. We also have good & steady jobs. If we were younger though and without kids, we'd both be out of here by now. We've gone off the deep end to the right.

Please explain what is SO BAD in your life (SPECIFICALLY) living here in America...not emotional what ifs...but actually what is so horrible about American that you don't want to live here?  Where would be better and why?

My life is fine, and that's why I'm staying. However, if I didn't have roots here and I was younger, I'd leave in a heartbeat. Too much bigotry, hatred, crappy subsidized food (RFK is right about that and fluoride), wasteful spending (e.g. military, homeland security, FBI, cia, etc) and worst of all, right-wing corruption (Musk running the federal govt is a great example). We've gone off the deep end to the right, at least fiscally.

So your actual life, here in America, is actually really good.  You’re mad at what the screen is telling you to be mad at. 
 

Either way, I’m sorry your focus and animosity is so cornered on that which is not a part of and not affecting your life.  That sucks. I sure wouldn’t want to be stuck in that hell hole either.

There are certainly worse places, such as Congo, N. Korea and Somalia. However, if I got to start over from scratch, I'd move to a place like Norway, Sweden, Luxembourg, Canada or Denmark.
