Yeah, after re-thinking it I wouldn't be able to root for AJ, even over CS.

I piss and moan on Starocci all the time, but he isn't actually a bad guy.  He acts like a punk, but he isn't bad, evil, or incompetent.

I would argue that he is incompetent at being a heel.  He acts like a punk and says cringey stuff, but you can often tell it is acting.  Bad acting.

I have never seen a guy with Starocci's credentials be so disrespected. First it was the NLWC All-Star meet where everyone was picking PK to beat him. Now this first year starter is going to beat a 4X NCAA champ?

Starocci is likely not losing this year and getting his 5th title. No first year starter is going to beat him. I say this as a Penn State fan who thinks Carter is an absolute turd and when he leaves PSU I will stop rooting for him all together.

Strawman argument. Not one person said they would take Ferrari over CS.

Because Starocci is so dislikable, whenever there is a shred of hope to see him lose, those of us who wish to see him humbled rely on wishful thinking rather than what we know to be the truth. Carter Starocci is very likely going to go undefeated and with his 5th this year. PK is the only hope.

I won't disagree with you on him being unlikable. I completely understand why people want to see him lose.
