Unfortunately for Facundo I would imagine every practice and every workout for him right now is worrying about getting and keeping the weight off rather than improving his wrestling. Kasak is growing into the weight and probably getting a bit sharper every day. On top of that you have potentially an even better 157/165 coming in and at least one more year where you can't make the lineup at 165/174 after this year. Its in the teams best interest for him to stay down at 157 incase something happens and maybe he even earns the spot but I think for him it would be best to go up in weight and use this time to train with the guys in that room and then transfer next year... maybe back home?

What is funny is the scores are(were) almost opposite.

Cochran supposedly won via Major over Barr and Facundo over Kasak via 8-3 Decision.

That said, the margins are thin in the Kasak/Facundo dynamic.  I think you send Facundo still.

If Barr flipped a Major to a Major, I think you go off whomever is hot until B1G season rolls around, then you go with who you are determining to be the B1G starter end-of-year.

I heard the Barr/Cochran match was 2-1 with a minute to go?

1:03. And they were mid-scramble on the way to Barr getting the TD and the back points. The TD was awarded at 1:02 with swipes immediately following. The ref held the back points for almost 30 seconds, so the timing can be deceptive.
