Will Bartlett open up like he said?

He did shoot right away.

I lost faith when I saw the cheesy mustache.

Mendez vs Bartlett raises the excitement level.

Mendez looking left underhook but Bartlett blocking him off. Bartlett with a level change but nothing. Mendez in on a good single late and he converts. 3-0 after 1. Review to see if time ran out. Score stands. Still 3-0 after 1.

Bartlett chooses down. Stands, breaks the grip and gets the ESC. 3-1. Bartlett shoots low single but they go OOB. Wrestlers circling. 3-1 after two periods.

Mendez chooses down. Mendez sits out, stands, and Bartlett returns him before they go OOB. They start on their feet. Now 4-1. Bartlett shoots from space a couple times but nothing. Now another and a stall call on Mendez. Now a Mendez shot, they scramble and Mendez holds on. Match ends at 4-1 for Mendez.

SVN vs Ty Watters

SVN in on a leg, they separate, and scramble and SVN trying to get behind. Watters fighting like hell. Now Van Ness gets him to his back! And 3 back points! 6-0 score for SVN. ESC. 6-1. Watters shoots, but SVN blocks it off. SVN gets to the leg briefly then nothing. Now another shot and he pulls Watters in near the edge. Pulling his head back in. Wow, very close but they are off the mat with no score on that exchange. 6-1 after 1.

2nd Period. Watters chooses down. ESC. 6-2. SVN with a slick foot sweep. Now 9-2. ESC. 9-3. SVN with another shot. They are battling. Another stall call. Now 10-3. End of 2nd.

3rd Period. SVN chooses down. Watters gets too high and SVN throws Watters to his back gets the reversal and back points. It is 16-3 now. ESC. 16-4. SVN trying for one more. Two shots but nothing. Final seconds and one last shot, but nothing. It ends 16-4 for SVN. That was quite the performance. SVN is back.

Tyler Kasak vs 3rd ranked Peyton Keller from Ohio U.

Holy Shnikes. That was quick. Kasak blasted Keller 3-0. Kasak riding. Almost turns him but then the ESC comes. 3-1. Circling in the center of the mat. Wrestlers tied up. First period ends 3-1.

2nd Period. Keller chooses down. Keller keeps trying to roll out and Kasak is timing it up trying to catch him and take him to his back. But Kasak still rides. Re start with about 30 seconds left in period 2. Lots of RT for Kasak. Keller finally out. 3-2 now, but 3 min of RT. Period ends.

Kasak chooses down. Keller gets legs in. Kasak trying to turn back in for a reversal, but nothing. Keller still riding with only 25 seconds left. Kasak trying to turn in again. Keller rides the period out but it ends 3-2 with another point for 1:02 RT for Tyler Kasak. Final is 4-2.
