Four former Michigan football players are suing the NCAA and the Big Ten Network for $50 million. They all played prior to 2016. The House suit starts with 2016 due to statute of limitations issues. The four players contend that because the NCAA and Big Ten Network still put clips on YouTube and social media and show classic games, it precludes them from relying on the statute of limitations. This lawsuit is similar to those filed by the 1983 NC State men's basketball team and the 2008 Kansas men's basketball team.

Between the House settlement being rejected in its current form by the judge and suits like this, the NCAA will be lobbying even harder for antitrust exemption. Without it, the potential for litigation is almost endless.

When do the kids who couldn't compete because their chosen academic school didn't have their sport and start suing for the NIL they deserved.  There's a whole new generation of pickleball players heading to college in about 10 years.  What is the NCAA gonna do about it cause it might just be the biggest sport in the USA if not the world by then?  🙄

Probably has no impact on the wrestling community. There are no video games or other things that I'm aware of using wrestlers likeness and images.
