It might've been more surprising that he transferred to Iowa while he was in college. Didn't he go to hs with Rags and Lewan? It sounds like he'll have some pretty good training partners at CKWC too.

what have his freestyle results been? too lazy to look it up so someone who is smarter than I am please enlighten us.

I think he only started competing at the Senior level last year. Won silver at a ranking series tournament at 65kg. Before that, he won silver at Junior Pan Ams. Dunno what else.
