Predict the Champs 2024

  • 125- Davis- Obviously it's tough to predict 125. Davis seems like a good guess right now, but who knows.
  • 133- Crookham- Sports psychology studies Crookham.
  • 141- Bartlett- Looks like a tossup between Bartlett and Mendez. And Woods is still in the picture.
  • 149- Gomez- Dude just punched his ticket to Paris, and he likes to go big or go home.
  • 157- Haines- Not a done deal by any stretch.
  • 165- KOT- Too experienced and too solid to be taken out.
  • 174- Starocci- Right now bro is like Kobe after MJ dissed him (assuming his injury isn't too serious)
  • 184- Keckeisen
  • 197- Brooks
  • 285- Kerk- A potential Bastida match would be fun to watch.

125 - Richie Figueroa - Honestly no idea and I predict chaos. Figs was the most realistic chaos outcome I could predict.

133- Fix - He looks better this year and I think he gets finally gets it done.

141 - Mendez.  Very impressive B1G tourney.

149 - Ridge. - Most well rounded Folkstyle wrestler in the bracket.

157 - Levi - Has separated himself.

165- KOT - Not counting out Carr but he didn't seem close to finishing on KOT

174 - Carter - I don't buy into the drama. He seems like he wanted to go this weekend so knee isn't as bad as feared, was likely only held out for own protection.

184 - Keckeisen - picked apart Plott and has beaten #2, 3, 4 . Impressive season.

197 - Brooks.  Finals are next topic Brooks v. Hidlay. I think Hidlay has a legit chance but I can't pick against Brooks

285 - Kerk.  Exciting to see if Younger can make it a match but edge to Kerk as his is more well rounded.

125 - Davis

133 - Fix

141 - Mendez

149 - Lovett

157 - Haines

165 - O'Toole

174 - Starocci

184 - Keckeisen

197 - Hidlay (you can call me crazy). Brooks is great, but the Hidlay boys got jobbed at NCAAs a couple times over the years and I think karma is going to come due. This will be the upset at NCAAs this year.  Either that or Brooks wins by bonus 😄

HWT - Kerkvliet

don't sleep on Richie Figs....he's looking So Damn Good in the PAC 12s

He won in sudden victory in the semis and by a point in the finals. He scored a cumulative 3 points in regulation in those two matches. He's good, but I think his PAC 12 performance shows that he's jumbled in with the rest of the 125s.

Ayala

Crookham

Mendez

Gomez (I am stubborn)

Haines

KOT

Starocci if he wrestles anywhere near healthy, otherwise Mehki

Parker Keckeisen

Brooks, next topic

Kerk over Bastida, Kerk's length being the difference

It starts at Hwt and ends with Brooks Interview, so make sure to not turn away even for one second.

125 - Ramos, coming off some tough losses he will be refocused and ready to do damage. I’m also biased and think Ayala, Davis, or many others could win it.

133- Fix - this is his year, the dude turned 26 today it’s literally what he’s dedicated his life to and this is his year.

141 - Mendez.  Very impressive B1G tourney, I think he beats Barlett again.

149 - Gomez- gotta bet on the olympian.

157 - Levi- east pick

165- KOT - The 2,3,5 seeds will all beat up each other and KOT gets it done in the finals.

174 - Carter - but not confident at all. The field isn’t crazy deep so it’s hard to pick against him unless he shows up hobbling and unable to move.

184 - Keckeisen - picked apart Plott, Bernie is destined to get 4th so no challenger there.

197 - Hidlay. Hidlay has a legit chance and has upped his game so much.

285 - Kerk.  Younger is good, Kerk is next level. There are levels to this shit.
