Bekhbayar Erdenebat, repping the IRTC and Mongolia, has Rzazade of Azerbaijan. Up 1-0 at the break on a shot clock. Rzazade was Euro Gold last year and beat Zane at the World Championships. Wow! Erdenebat threw the Azeri to his back and stuck him!

Great for the ILLINOIS Regional Training Center, but that pushes Michael McGee out the tournament.

Tevanyan up 1-0 on on Rivera on a shot clock with 50S to go in the first.

That's how the first ends (1-0).

BIG four pointer followed by a gut to start the second.

Rivera down 7-0.  He is going to have to chase him down now.

Pushout for Tevanyan... not letting up... he wants this match.  8-0 with 1M to go.

Rivera just outclassed today.  Tevanyan wasn't overlooking him again.

Rivera gets on the board with a late stepout, but still loses 9-1.  Easy money for Tevanyan.

The IRTC with one in the finals, and one in repechage. I'm going to predict that Zane wins Bronze.

Tevanyan at 65 kg is a brutal force. He's beaten world medalist Rivera 9-1. Ouch. We get McKenna versus Rivera.

Nahshon Garrett losing 3-4 at the break against Switzerland. I thought Switzerland was neutral, what's with the leg attacks? Nice feet-to-back double from Nahshon for four with :43 seconds left to take an 8-5 lead. A challenge gives Switzerland 2 to make it 8-7 Garrett. With :19 seconds on the clock and a four-pointer in his pocket (meaning he ain't gonna lose on criteria) Nahshon freaking gives up his leg. Switzerland wins 10-8. What a silly mistake.

Brandon Courtney wrestling Georgia, gives up the first takedown and the first period ends 0-2. Now tied 2-2 with 2 minutes to go....

Reading back through this thread and loved this bolded part 😂

Dean's lack of a neutral offense really hurts him in Freestyle.

He is down 6-0 to Ramos right now.  About 2M to go.

Haha

Dean tried some folkstyle power-half stuff... gets a TD and a turn then gets reversed to his back.

Down 8-4 with 90S to go.

Dean folkstyle funks his way to another TD and a bow and arrow type turn?  Up 8-8.

Called up with 10S to go.

The next three matches on Mat A are as follows...

Cruz VS Bulgaria at 57 KG
McKenna VS France at 65 KG (a Russian)
Dean VS Azerbaijan at 86 KG

Richards is up next on Mat B at 57 KG

Win these matches and they are in medal matches for Bronze.

Richards gives up two takedowns in the first minute to Turkey.  Down 4-0.

Not sure how that sequence was a TD and exposure for Zain there with ~30S to go.

I get the 1 point pushout for Turkey.

Down 5-2... should be 5-4... Zane waved off a challenge by his coach(es).

Nevermind it is getting challenged.

It will end up being 5-4 or 6-2 after this challenge.

Nvm it looks like Zane waves off the challenge again.

His call in the end, so there's that.  He has confidence in his motor, which is awesome.

5-2 at the break, Turkey is leading.

Takedown for Turkey about 20 seconds in to the second.  Nice sequence... Richards could have had that, though.
