Yep McGee beat him in the consi finals.

I just feel like winning on the 5th attempt has to have an asterisk next to it. Like compared to these guys: https://www.flowrestling.org/articles/6001283-the-best-to-never-win-a-title-top-10-of-last-10-years plus others like Trenge Hazelwinkle Zaputil etc is Fix really any better or did he just get another shot. Gotta think if you gave some of those guys a 5th NCAA they’d have won too.

So you are staying he can avoid this stigma if he wins at 133 but not 125? Cause its a tougher weight.

If we’re putting asterisks, it’d have to have one either way.

Have there been any other 5x Top 8 finishers yet besides Myles Amine?  Or anyone else going for it this year besides Fix?  I know Mekhi is wrestling in his fifth tournament but didn’t AA the year he was injured.

I think its there either way, but at slightly smaller font if he wins the tougher weight at least

There’s been rumors of Fix going 125 ever since Picc left, maybe before.  I don’t believe it till I see it.

I'm not sure I believe it either, but it was definitely a bit weird that he only weighed 130 at last Friday's weigh in.

What is the source that he didn’t though, besides Pyles?  I haven’t seen either claim actually attributed to anyone with inside information.

Poster on another forum that should be more reliable.  However it is impossible to prove a negative.  Can you prove you never stole a 1968 Firebird?  What is the source and where's the weigh in sheet that says he did?

I have no idea what he weighed.  But yes, someone that saw the weigh in or who has the weigh in sheet can prove what he weighed

So what about the 68 bird, I want it back for my brother.

Are you sure he didn’t take two of them?  I’d like a convertible.

You weren’t serious about saying “can’t prove a negative” in this specific scenario right?  If we can prove what he weighed, then we can prove what he didn’t weigh…

Yeah but proving you stole @Offthemat's 68 Firebird convertible doesn't prove you didn't steal my brothers hard top.
