The new poster child for clingy wrestling that is killing the sport.  Constantly holding on to force stalemates and the double boots with no real attempt to turn.  Just awful.  Please adjust the rules accordingly.

He definitely hammers on people and goes for turns. His top style is not the issue.

Ankle riders is where you should take a look.

Outlaw the Nittany ankle ride. It’s still hanging on an ankle.

Crab ride, spiral ride, leg ride, cross body ride. The names say it all. Riding is not turning.

Switching from Folk to freestyle would solve all these problems

I remember when it was called the Iowa Ride. Gable used to teach it.

Double leg rides need to be called a stalemate sooner.

I have no problem with Nagao’s neutral style tho. He’s just good.

Sure, if you're not working to turn.

DEFINITELY need to nix the "Penn State Ankle Ride."

And I agree that the kid is just a stud...but I still think he's choking.

The last thing I want to see is this go to Freestyle.

Yeah...and if Iowa was winning 10 out of 12 NCAA Titles and putting Freshmen into the finals every year and dominating, it'd still be called the Iowa Ride!

I see Nagao rising to the occasion each of the next 3 years.  Could he be the next 133lb RBY?

I think that may be pushing it...but I'd have said the same about RBY the year prior.

He's gotta get a little better offensively on his feet and get out quicker on the bottom, but I didn't see RBY's dominance coming out.

It's pretty tough to predict a run of dominance that's on a RBY level coming off a 5th place finish. Even as a Freshmen. He's obviously capable though.

I see him choking in each of the next 3 years.

Yes, and it would also solve my Agoraphobia.  I wouldn't mind going to an arena with only 50 people in it.
