Montalvo  definitely getting an at large , 184 has gone chalk around the country

Even with his record? I’m not an expert on the system used, but I think he’s going to finish around .500 with 14ish matches

Yep - he returned for 2 matches and then forfeited out.  Lost 1-0 to Truax in the semis after that 14-2 win.

So ... NorfLeet is done ?   7-6 record (.538 win pct) & not enough matches for RPI ... even if he gets a CR.

Not sure why he wouldn't wrestle the 2 matches he mff ... that would have qualified him for an RPI.

To be out since Dec.2, then ... to finally return & not give himself any chance to quallify doesn't make sense unless he re-injured himself today ?

Malpractice from Zeke. Some times you have to save kids from themselves. What a waste of a year of eligibility.

Not sure why  didnt  go with chlebove. Rolled the dice on the Hardy win.

Agreed. Just a really disheartening decision from Zeke. He had flashed, but like many true freshman, he had an up and down season. Putting him in a position where his only route to NCAAs was to win a conference tournament is just wrong.

Kaylor finally beats Courtney

I didn't see the match. Did Kaylor figure it out or is there something going on with Courtney? What range do you see both seeded at in Tulsa?

2-2  Went to double OT and Kaylor had more riding time. Zeke used every brick in the book.  Courtney used good position to keep Kaylor on the edge but Kaylor took more shots. Good match. Not sure about seeding.

Did Sugar Shane lose again to the Oregon St kid?

Shane was noticeably frustrated at his inability to generate offense throughout the entire match. I’ve seen it a few times on the forums, but he’s a prime candidate for HEW.

That's tough timing. Hope he figures things out before Nationals.

Cael did a nice job wrestling back for true second and earning a bid after a disappointing opening round loss. Lone bright spot for ASU.
