Accusing a 12 year old of lying about being raped almost 50 years ago when the accused was indicted and fled the state to avoid charges, is a new low, even for Republicans which is saying a lot.

The Ramaswamy campaign confirmed they were behind the ad and doubled down on it.  The lack of self awareness is stunning…Vivek will now lose decisively.   Most Republicans will still vote for him of course and I’d bet most of the ones that don’t will be because he’s brown and not because of this.

When even prominent Republicans are speaking out against Vance’s defense of the ad, yeah that’s a good indication it’s a fairly popular opinion.  Far more common than people thinking Sydney Sweeney was a Nazi for example, which was based mostly on a few randos on TikTok.
