This is the most secure midterm in history. haha.

Well at least me know there will be no excuses when the results in all likelihood do not end well for Republicans.

Top 10 Commandments for Democrats
  1. Thou shalt have no other gods before the government.
  2. Thou shalt idolize race, gender, and climate policies above all else.
  3. Thou shalt treat religious people as worm-brained and obsolete.
  4. Thou shalt cut off parents who disagree with thy beliefs.
  5. Thou shalt not execute murderers.
  6. Thou shalt pursue the sexual revolution without fault or limit.
  7. Thou shalt tax highly, riot freely, redistribute, and punish lightly.
  8. Thou shalt call riots peaceful and claim Republican states are worse on crime.
  9. Thou shalt pursue equity and wealth taxes as moral goods.
  10. Thou shalt bear false witness while protecting thine own narrative.

Ironically, this is what many Republicans, not Democrats, are campaigning on whereas Democrats are campaigning on the real issues.  Pretty indisputable.

Do not bear false witness.

“His name is Abdul!  He’s a terrorist!”

“Talarico thinks there are 6 genders!”

Those are the core arguments against them.  Meanwhile, those 2 guys are campaigning on the real issues.  Again, indisputable.

All I see is a flood of attack ads from candidates with questionable morals, hoping to get elected by telling me how terrible the other side is. And they personally approve every one of those ads.

In the case of Talarico, his opponent really is terrible, and has a long documented history of being terrible (even though @Bigbrog refuses to acknowledge this).

I haven’t seen El Sayed attacking Rogers for anything other than being a yes man for Trump.

Yes I know there are other races, but these are probably the two getting the most press.

It’s really disgusting how many times we’re seeing local politicians in my region of PA appearing here there and everywhere on Facebook group pages galore. They all want to win so bad they can taste it. They should all be replaced with the common man so I can regain my faith in the system.

The mailers are out of control. Like I read a damn thing on them. Straight to the recycling bin.

Democrats
https://democrats.org/what-were-fighting-for/

“Democrats believe that every American deserves a fair shot at the American dream.”
  • Does it sound good: Yes.  This conservative agrees.
  • Is it spin: Yes.  It implies Democrats uniquely deliver this.
  • Is it bad:  Yes.  It justifies almost any government expansion.  The entirity of the page is about wealth differences being evidence of injustice.

“Our agenda is focused on lowering costs, improving healthcare, creating jobs, ending corruption, and protecting our democracy. We want all Americans to be able to live healthy, safe, and secure lives."

  • Does it sound good: Yes.  This conservative agrees.
  • Is it spin: Yes.  It presents Democrats as the party of ordinary people and Republicans as the party of the rich. Totally ignores that working-class voters moved right... and that the left has "rich" "educated" people.
  • Is it bad:  Yes.  Tribal framing.

I will stop here...  it just continues to repeat the same format of saying something that everyone can agree on before spinning and polarizing.

GOP does the same thing.

Very dumb.

What matters to me is not what Democrats say, rather its what they do... which is bring us riots and wokeness and crime...

These political campaigns somehow have my mobile number and won’t stop texting and calling. I reply STOP and report them as spam, and a different number starts up. STOP!

History pretty much tells us what’s going to happen in the midterms.  It shouldn’t be a surprise

agree with you there - what’s it like 90% of the time since the 40’s the presidents opposing party wins the midterms. For me 2026 md results is already baked in. I’ll have a nice meal prepared while sitting back watching the countdown bars at the bottom of the tv screen.
