He can wipe his brow... lost challenge and he advances w/ a 6-4 score.

His wrestling style worries me!

Never argue with an idiot. They will only bring you down to their level and beat you with experience.

This guy from India is really good but he popped for PED's so if he wins we are calling him a cheater just an FYI

Bassett w/ a single but unable to finish... opts for the step out (and they gave it... 4-1)

India claims otherwise...

Not sure what Bo was thinking.  Take the step out and you win.

Jaskaran Singh won Takhti cup a couple years ago from memory. He beat quite a few decent 65 guys from Iran in that tournament. I wouldn't be surprised if Basset comes back in for repechage. But he is going to wrestle Ogino I think which will be a tough one too.

I was told bo going to u23's was not a big deal because he would not have competitive matches by the FRL guys

Challenge won by India... 3-2 Bassett

That point really changed the match. The result is kind of tough to swallow there, but that's FS. Bo in on the shot, driving, India whizzers and Bo's head goes OB and India steals the point. Poor tactics at the end. Bo could have given the step out and won since he had the only 2 pointer in the bout, but over extends himself and ends up giving up 4 to lose the bout.

All in all, Bo should have absolutely won that match but some sloppy execution cost him. He had a takedown as well as two step outs where he had a single in the air. It was a great learning experience for what he should expect in a couple of weeks. He lost this match based purely on edge wrestling under the FS rules. With better edge tactics he very well maybe have only gave up 1 point in the match instead of 6. The first two step outs required challenges from India, and the 4 happened because he didn't just concede the exchange and give up one point. He wrestled well, but you can't make those mistakes.

Yep I wrote about that in my prediction write up. I guess he was still serving his suspension so he should not have been competing but he is certainly tough as nails. I do not love his leg defense against a guy like Ogino.

TBF they said he would probably only have 1 or 2 competitive matches. He did only have one..
