A few things:

1. Maybe if Israel allowed outside journalists in, we’d get a different perspective.  Yes I know they claim this is for safety reasons, but media companies around the world are specifically requesting access to Gaza and being denied - https://apnews.com/article/gaza-israel-journalists-coverage-access-war-zone-0b3e72a7d73e211944fb5ff1c9d5d645

2.  Wait, there were stories of journalists saying Hamas is bad?  I thought they all supported Hamas?

3.  Again, pretty much no one is defending Hamas.  We know Hamas is an evil terrorist organization.  That doesn’t mean Israel can do whatever the heck they want with no repercussions, including intentionally killing journalists, even if they may be biased.   I know there are some Hamas combatants that have pretended to be journalists, but Israel has also intentionally killed journalists who were not combatants and admitted to lying about claiming they were.  They also have a documented history (I’d argue “a policy” @Caveira), of executing double or triple tap strikes, where they strike a target, then strike it again after journalists and medical personnel arrive.  The most notable incident of course being the Nasser Hospital attack, where even the stated reason for the initial attack was they were targeting A CAMERA.  This is not “Hamas propaganda,” this is Israel’s own statements.

My post above is not a Whatabout however.  It’s directly relevant to this discussion.  Yes, Hamas is bad.  Yes, Hamas is able to hide some of the evil things they do because of the media in Gaza fearing them. That doesn’t mean everything the media there is showing is fake and that doesn’t mean the media there are actually Hamas fighters.  And Israel’s refusal to allow outside journalists into Gaza is a major reason why we are only getting one side.

Israel is preventing us from getting a different perspective.   Don’t kid yourself that it’s solely for the safety of the media members.   Israel knows they are losing the information war, if Hamas killed a few American journalists more people would be less critical of what Israel is doing.  The reality is Israel is okay with a biased perspective because then they can just call the media Hamas and the sheep will eat it right up.   Like the rest of you in this thread are doing.
