Pericarditis only showed up on my radar as a covid vaccine injury,

I think you meant a COVID-19 infection injury.

Quote

The incidence of pericarditis and myocarditis in patients exposed to mRNA COVID-19 vaccines was lower than in those who were not vaccinated, especially in adults. The most common cause of pericarditis and myocarditis was idiopathic/infectious, but the most frequent cause in adolescent patients was mRNA COVID-19 vaccination. Cases of myocarditis due to COVID-19 infection were more severe and had greater mortality.

it is always a crap shoot when you put your trust in some shade tree mechanic hiding behind a white coat and some letters...

it is shocking the percentage of those i know who have stories of misdiagnoses that could have ended much much worse myself included...

anyway...

it is a good reminder that no athlete is guaranteed anything and literally every opportunity should be cherished and never taken for granted...
