So in other words you can’t even give me one example of a mayor or governor telling their constituents to riot. Thought that would be pretty easy for you with your algorithm on x

Well if the encourage it you should find proof of that pretty quickly!

there is no good reason for civilians to get in ices way, they have already proven they don’t care about using lethal force first and asking questions later so that’s a dumb thing for anyone to do

In Minneapolis 2 weeks ago they arrested the organizer of a so called right wing protest before the protest even began. But conversely they have allowed radical and felony behavior to continue week in and week out by leftist groups.

If local/ state cops can arrest right wingers before a protest why can’t the fbi do the same for left wing protests?

Your Google machine works.

You’re the one saying mayors and governors are telling their constituents to riot. The  burden of proof is on the accuser lol

The fact that mayors and governors “encourage riots” as you have said in your words does not stop federal law enforcement from doing the exact same that local and state police do.

im really looking forward to what law/charge homan has in mind for arresting politicians he doesn’t agree with but this admin is a lot of talk not a lot of results so we shall wait and see

There is no single federal statute that defines or bans “sanctuary” jurisdiction.

You sure do seem to love leaving your mouth open often for some reason. Something can’t be illegal when it has never been defined legally and that there are no laws mentioning it at all

I think property damage, obstruction of free passage, and physical harm, evidence of premeditation bring it to a riot level. There are also cases where a small faction of the  participants riot, but the majority does not, does that mean the entire protest was a riot?

I would agree with far most of that, with the caveat that I think when it comes to free passage, context is needed to differentiate protest from riot.  For example.  If a group is sitting in the street blocking traffic, keeping their hands to themselves, not throwing shit at cars, etc…they are protesting.  And I also believe in that situation you get what you earn, so if someone gets out of their car and drags you to the sidewalk so they can get through…well….that just happened.  However if you’re standing in the middle of the street pointing a weapon, now there’s the fear or threat of physical harm, or throwing shit at the cars, now you’re rioting.

I’m not sure I agree with the premeditated part.  I mean, pretty much all protests are planned ahead of time, I don’t think being planned makes it a riot.

To your last question, I think any event that crosses the line into rioting, that is then a riot.  But that doesn’t mean everyone on scene was rioting.  Let’s take for example the summer of 2020 scene, and Jan 6 (two events people on both sides like to what about each other so much).  In both instances…..definitely riots.   But there were people in both instances who were just protesting, not rioting.  To me the difference is in your engagement.  If you follow the people that broke the windows into the building, you’re part of the riot.  If you stood outside and watched people go into the building, and didn’t cause any damage to person or property, you’re protesting.

I think a lot of people gauge the difference based on whether or not they agree with the cause, or like the people who engaging, and their opinion of riot or protest has little to nothing to do with the actual context of engagement.  If they don’t like it, they forget all about the fact that a core foundation of our country is protest. May or may not be that those same people have difficulty on discussing thre difference between the two.

It was an arrest without merit. Only the left uses the law as a weapon.

Yea because this administration hasn’t done anything like that 😂😂
