EXCLUSIVE: State Dept reveals Portland Antifa connection to Hamas, Iran’s IRGC in sweeping terror action

Marco Rubio says Autistici/Inventati built encrypted digital tools used by Rose City Antifa, Hamas and other violent groups

EXCLUSIVE: A State Department memo reveals that an international technology collective, now under a U.S. global terrorism designation, provided services to overseas terrorist groups and violent far-left agitators causing chaos in American cities, according to a copy obtained by Fox News Digital.

"Far-left terrorism poses a profound threat to the United States and the broader West," Secretary of State Marco Rubio said in a statement to Fox News Digital. "Today, the United States sanctioned Autistici/Inventati – a major far-left tech collective whose services are used by the most active and violent Antifa cells in the United States and across the world."

Autistici/Inventati, called the A/I Collective by the State Department, is an Italy-based group that builds highly sophisticated digital infrastructure used by violent left-wing organizations in the United States and Europe, along with Islamic terrorists, according to the State Department. The collective's services include encrypted chats and email, web hosting, secure video conferencing and streaming and anonymity shields, according to the memo.

"These tools are specifically designed to support the operations of far-left terrorist networks, built to enable them to organize, recruit, communicate, disseminate propaganda, share target information and tactics, and carry out violent attacks – all while remaining anonymous, untraceable, and beyond the reach of the law," says the State Department's memo.

A/I Collective has officially been deemed a Specially Designated Global Terrorist. The designation bars Americans and U.S. financial institutions from doing business with the group and freezes any assets it has under U.S. jurisdiction. Violators can face civil or criminal penalties.

The memo identifies Portland-based Rose City Antifa, known for its violent rioting and destruction, as one of the U.S. groups that relied on A/I Collective tools and services.

Rose City Antifa is listed in the memo alongside a media organization that the State Department says uses A/I Collective tools to disseminate information to the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP), which is proliferating inside the United States, Hamas, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), Hezbollah and others.

Designation of Autistici/Inventati as a Specially Designated Global Terrorist
Fact Sheet

Office of the Spokesperson

August 26, 2026

Autistici/Inventati (A/I Collective) is an Italy-based extremist group that builds and operates the digital infrastructure for violent Antifa cells and other far-left militants across the world. A/I’s cadre of radical hackers and tech developers provide a full spectrum of services – including encrypted chats and email, web hosting, secure video conferencing and streaming, anonymity shields, and a suite of other technological tools – to Marxist, anarchist, and other left-wing extremist groups in the United States, Europe, and elsewhere. These tools are specifically designed to support the operations of far-left terrorist networks, built to enable them to organize, recruit, communicate, disseminate propaganda, share target information and tactics, and carry out violent attacks – all while remaining anonymous, untraceable, and beyond the reach of the law.

The A/I Collective exclusively offers its tools and services to radical left-wing actors and manually vets all potential users for ideological affinity before granting them access to its infrastructure. The group has become a key node in a transnational campaign by violent and criminal far-left networks to destabilize the United States and its partners across Europe, the Western Hemisphere, and beyond. It currently claims to host roughly 16,000 mailboxes, 1,500 websites, 5,500 mailing lists, and 10,000 “blogs” on its custom-built platform, which militants frequently use to disseminate target information, tactical manuals and techniques, and communiqués about recent attacks.

  • Oregon-based Rose City Antifa has relied on A/I Collective tools and services to organize and incite violent and criminal acts domestically, including an attack on Customs and Border Patrol helicopters that led to a federal indictment. Rose City Antifa also used A/I Collective tools and services to disseminate doxing lists and release illegally obtained personal information of Federal Immigration and Customs Enforcement, along with calls for targeted attacks on ICE agents in the streets and “in their homes.”
  • The anarchist cell responsible for waging a violent campaign to prevent the construction of a law enforcement training center in Atlanta, Georgia, relied on A/I Collective tools and services to claim responsibility for violent attacks on law enforcement officers, disseminate doxing lists and illegally obtained private information, threaten government officials and business owners, and circulate instructions for making improvised explosive and incendiary devices to be used against government buildings and local businesses. The cell remains active and still uses A/I Collective tools and services to incite violent and criminal acts against government officials, law enforcement, and critical infrastructure.
  • The violent far-left extremists, “Jane’s Revenge,” who waged a firebombing campaign against crisis pregnancy centers across the United States, relied on A/I Collective tools and services to publish official communiqués and claims of responsibility for violent and criminal acts and to incite copycat attacks. Four members of the group were later charged for violating federal law and engaging in a “conspiracy against rights” through threats of force and intimidation.

How much funding are we talking about? Is it 1/1000th the funding provided by the US taxpayers for the Israeli genocide machine?

I thought this might be a response.   That is why I gave some news sources and the actual State Department sources.

If the info you are requesting is not within the actual State department memos, we may have to wait for that information.

It is interesting that the memos are real, but only reported by FOX, not by any other of the mainstream media sources.  This is a pretty big story and it should be more widely reported.   Can we infer anything from that?  My search only brought up the Facebook and Fox news things.   Now there is these:

https://www.aljazeera.com/news/2026/8/26/us-imposes-sanctions-on-palestine-action-and-other-left-wing-groups

But no other news sources.   I just find that very interesting.   Why would mainstream media think that this would not be of interest to anyone?  I suspect we will see them reporting as this grows in acknowledgement.

So antifa is real.   Good to know

There are local organizations that have "Antifa" in their name, which simply means "anti-fascist."

That's literally all that we've been saying all along.

Are you "pro fascist?"

If you think this is something important or profound, I have a glacier to sell you.

They probably donated $10 or something like that. Until you actually have something, this is a joke. And no, this administration is not objective by a long shot. They lie worse than breitbart does.

They’re not against fascism.  They are fascists.   They riot against anything they don’t like.  They try to kill law enforcement.   They are monsters trying to destroy the fabric of the country.   You are one of them either literally or in spirit.

You idiot. So if I belong to an "anti fascism" group that automatically makes me a fascist. You are unbelievablly dumb.

Again, these are local groups. It's beyond stupid to say they are the same group simply because  they have "Antifa" in their names.

Pretty much … it’s what they are.   They impose their ideological will on anyone they disagree with.   That’s why they are on the domestic terrorist list.

You supported them trying to murder ice.  Your not the right person for the subject

No. They're on the list simply because pedo Trump decided to put them on there. You are about as brainwashed as any winger I've ever heard from.

They’ve been rioting in the streets for no reason for a long time.  Far longer than Trump has been in office.  But the liberals like political violence and the headlines they get from them.   It’s been a long time coming

Let me know when any of you idiots have any evidence whatsoever that these organizations that have "Antifa" in their name are affiliated with each other, or how much was actually donated and if its anything close to what U.S. taxpayers pay to fund Israeli genocide.

There is no reason to belong to an anti fascist group in America because there are no fascists here.   Most everyone believes in government by Constitution.   That is about as far from fascist as you can get.

There is no fascist group that uses terror to obtain their objectives to overthrow the government.

The antifa groups do just that.   They are the fascists.   They do not accept dissent.   They silence as many detractors as possible.   They are for censorship.   They are for lax law enforcement.   They are for assault of opponents.   They are for arson and property destruction.   They are using their antifa moniker to promulgate their fascist leanings.   All the above are endemic of fascists.  The methods to gain their objectives are against what they project they are for.   They are the true fascists.

It doesn't really matter, their funding has been cut off by the State Department.   A/I is labeled terrorist and they no longer can operate their subversive communication network.   The fact that Antifa and Hamas use the same communication methods should be alarming.

So any organization that has the word "Antifa" in their name is automatically a terrorist group?

Anti-fascism is pro-terrorism then?

So our entire country was terrorist then when we attacked Germany in WW2.

Pretty stupid but don't expect anything less from the idiot wingers.

Anti-fascism is pro-terrorism then?   Antifa is pro-terrorism.   Anti fascists as in against Hitler and Mussolini, probably not if they did not espouse terror.

So our entire country was terrorist then when we attacked Germany in WW2.   See above.  This is a false narrative and you know it.   There are no fascist governments currently like those in the 1930-1940s.   We went to war to stop them so you might say that was a terror move, but it was Hitler and Mussolini that were the aggressors.  We were aiding Europe in defending themselves.   We also defended against Japan who was aligned with Germany and Italy.

Pretty stupid but don't expect anything less from the idiot wingers.   You seem to be quite put out that the State Department has done this.   I applaud them.   Funding and aiding and abetting are being stopped.   Those are good things.   Yet you are not happy with this news.

The problem you have is you seem to believe that when someone says they are anti fascist they truly are.   But by their actions, it is apparent they are not against fascism.   They are using fascist techniques to get to where the law and order are overthrown and they can topple the government.   That is the true aim here.   Anti fascists would not use fascist techniques to get their way.  It would be antithetical to their cause.   So these antifa types are not truly anti fascists.   They are the wolves in sheeps clothing.

In addition, you seem to believe that those that want to preserve law and order and keep Constitutional government are the problem and the fascists.  This is what I read from the various posts you type up.

What might help is for you to provide a definition of what fascism is and what you find as fascist in this country.   That would at least be a dialog that you could discuss with others.
