And never called into question Nancy Pelosi's trading because "Tis all legal boss?"

Both are an example of taking something too far.  Every politician in their position might do it a little - a de minimis amount in the grand scheme, but these two max it out and force action.  Pelosi made hundreds of millions and Trump billions.

Insider trading is literally illegal.   They just don’t seem to want to police themselves.

term limits would be helpful.  So would real oversight into the trashy things politicians do …. But they won’t do it.

Bribery is literally illegal too.  What evidence do you have of insider trading?  "You have that on audio or an email or something.    Where is your evidence of this"

You keep showing this stupid email but have provided zero context or why this is proof that Joe Biden did anything illegal. You also assume that Joe Biden is the "big guy" without any solid evidence whatsoever. You're a joke.

No. You are the idiot that keeps posting this stupid email so onus is on you. What's your proof, or even evidence, that Joe Biden did anything illegal.

Yes; and what Biden did or didn't do is a completely different subject.

Are you saying that Trump DIDN'T make $1.4 BILLION FROM HIS CRYPTO SCAM?!?

I’m saying it isn’t illegal.  And you don’t like it only cause it’s Trump.  I’ve said that like 83,000 times lol.

And it's shady as hell, still. This shows now morally bankrupt the winger scumbags are. Their only defense is that it "isn't illegal." So it's perfectly fine.

The only reason it isn't illegal is because nobody thought a president would be enough of a POS to try something like that. He basically put himself up for sale. It will be illegal within a few years.

Anybody with an ounce of integrity would condemn something like that, but I wouldn't expect that from any of the scumbag wingers out there.

Ok. So we have yet again established it is not illegal.  Carry on sir.

Outlaw crypto if it is only used for nefarious activities.

That is not a bad idea at all. Personally, I think it's quite a good idea to outlaw crypto.

Problem is that the president is backing it, nearly all republicans are backing him, so it is basically impossible to do.

In the US, the majority rules - and the majority right now is OK with shady, criminal crypto transactions.

The good news is that this may change relatively soon. Hoping to see it happen. Stand by.

But its technically legal, unlike jaywalking, so its perfectly fine that hes doing it.

That's true. It is technically legal.

And it will be legal until it isn't. There will come a time where it is either eliminated or monitored and audited like other transactional financial systems.

Until then - it's a smash-and-grab type situation where the crooks are trying to squeeze as much as money as they can out of it before it dries up. (They don't want cash or check - they only want bank transfer to crypto accounts.)

Crypto can serve a purpose. The two best use cases as I understand it are if you happen to be wealthy in a country with a volatile currency, it would make sense to hold your wealth in crypto that's pegged to the USD. It can also be much easier to send money across borders, which can be nefarious, but also has many valid uses.

In the US it seems like it's useful to buy drugs and other illegal items and to gamble, but not much else.

I agree with you.

Outside the US, where finances are often sketchy and unpredictable as F, crypto may be the least bad of your options.

Then again, these same sketchy and unpredictable economies are likely engaged in equally crooked practices.

In those foreign state cases - no easy answer - you pick your poison.

Evidence?

How about a $400 Million dollar jet that was gifted to Trump from Qatar that he is now flying around in.

Insider trading is soooo illegal. But because it so hard to prove in so many instances, it often slips by.

Could the WH & Congress fix that? Yes, absolutely. But if there is no will, there seems to be no way. Thieves they are.

Would be better odds if we could at least vote for people who aren't openly, obviously and purposely crooked.

I believe we had a 600 page thread on this jet and there still is no evidence of a bribe.   Also every single us president since George Washington has taken gifts.  Why are you opposed to these gifts ?

The Federal Bureau of Prisons transferred Ghislaine Maxwell to the minimum-security Federal Prison Camp (FPC) Bryan in Texas. The decision and approval were overseen by the Department of Justice, with Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche

You are wrong here.

Soon after the jet was gifted to Trump, Trump offered Qatar a security guarantee... this one:

“In the event of such an attack, the United States shall take all lawful and appropriate measures — including diplomatic, economic, and, if necessary, military — to defend the interests of the United States and of the State of Qatar and to restore peace and stability,” the order says.

Hint: This was flat-out, pure and simple, bribe. Period.
