Does Carr and Forest automatically make final X being world team member last year. If so what's benefit of entering us open?

No.  The winner of Lee-Lilledahl, Lovett-Henson, Green-Webster, and Thomas-Hendrickson will have to face the winners of World Team Trials in Final X.

For the other weights at the Open there is no World Team Trials, so...

McKenna-Bassett winner will face Woods.

Marsteller-Wick winner will face Haines.

Dake-Keckeisen winner will face Valencia.

Macchiavello-Plott winner will face Hidlay.

Buchanan-Zillmer winner will face Snyder.

As an aside, qualification for World Team Trials isn't beholden of qualifying at a specific weight.  If you qualify, you can go whatever weight you care to enter.  Meaning those who don't qualify at 65 KG could either drop to 61 KG or go up to 70 KG.

Same can be said with 92 KG or 97 KG (hell, even 86 KG) guys going 125 KG at WTT is possible, so long as they meet the criteria for WTT qualification.

If I'm Josh Barr I'm moving up to 125 at WTT. He could sneaky punch his ticket to a world team.

Something was off with Barr.  All due respects, that match against Macch should not have been close.

Looked like he buckled his own knee when he had Mike Macc in quad pod.

We are only guaranteed four things in life: death, taxes, Marinelli choking, and Mike Macch making the national team when everyone writes him off.

Every. Single. Year.

So besides us open there is world team trials as well. So jax and barr still alive?

Jax at 61 or any weight.

Barr's only option is 125.

57 KG, 61 KG, 70 KG, 74 KG, and 125 KG are the only weights that will hold a Trials tournament as all the others weights have a 2025 Worlds medalist awaiting the US Open Champion in the Final X best of three.

This is good then : we can see Duke, MM, Carr (again), Jax, Davino + Melvin Miller (sigh, another MM) and so on ..

Omitting Blaze - Davino was a mistake.

Apologies.

You have to forgive the folks that refuse to take two minutes to read. It's really hard after No Child Left Behind ruined my generation and TikTok said "hold my beer" to the next ones
