Your predictions perfectly mirror my sober, unfun predictions Saturday night my predictions will suddenly shift from 1 gold for USA, to 5

If anyone cared about gun violence, they would be willing to restrict the second amendment. As you're saying, there is a trade-off between freedom and safety.
-
Because military in a police role works out really well.
-
Why would a conservative like wrestling? Competitors are sorted by weight to promote "fairness" and "equality." Many holds are illegal to promote the "safety" of the individual. Each wrestler is allowed to "choose" their starting position in periods 2 and 3, even if they're losing. The referee is allowed to redistribute points according to what he deems "improper" behavior. You're being ridiculous. Stop smelling your own farts.

Alien: Earth is the 2nd Worst Show I have ever seen

I shut my brain off to this show week after week. It is the only one currently. -
If anyone cared about gun violence, cities would welcome the national guard with open arms.

I know a sikh from India and would not let him travel alone to certain places in the midwest because of 9/11 fears of muslims and confusion.
-
Exactly. We were not and never have been truly unified.
-
I see the country as it is.

Howard Stern got on the radio and said we should throw a dart at a map of the middle east and attack whatever country it hits. And that's essentially what we did, and it ended up killing a million people. Hate crimes against Arabs and Asians surged. So I don't think this is really an issue of "seeing what your heart wants to see." Those things happened.

Some wackadoodle killed a Sikh gas station owner nearby here a few days after 9/11 . Then his brother also got murdered by another crazy person for the same reason a few years later. I went to his funeral because a friend of mine was close with his family and the Sikh community. It was extremely sad.

This was the first stop of an entire tour of speaking on college campuses.

I guess you see what your heart wants you to see. If you want to see hatred and division, the actions of the few as you described is what resonates. If you don’t, the unity that was engaged in by the vast majority of the country is what stands out. You can be part of the problem, or part of the solution. Whichever you choose is what you choose. That is all….
-
What? Again you are not making sense.

24 years ago we experienced one of, if not the, darkest and most tragic days in the history of our nation. 8 years ago my community woke up in the morning and began picking up the pieces of the destruction left behind from Hurricane Irma 3 years ago my wife went under the first of many surgeries and treatments for a very rare form of cancer, that would take her life just 17 months later 2 years ago we finished the last room of the almost total rebuild of our home from the destruction of Hurricane Ian This morning I woke up hoping to see people realizing the hatred and division is going to bring us down and start a different path, only to see it amplified all over the place. I think beginning in 2026, September 11 is going to be spent way out in the ocean, or up deep in the mountains…totally off the grid.

betas routinely challenge alphas. some become alphas and some remain betas.

My memory of a quarter century ago isn't nearly as rose coloured. I remember a nation hell bent on revenge. People with even a hint of middle eastern descent were viewed as terrorists. A Sikh (not even the same region) was beaten because of his headwear. The country was just as divided then as we are now.

Stereotypes are built on facts, but can be misrepresentations and lead you astray. They are necessary.

So was the Starocci thing a fluke...???

A fluke? -
It is logical in accordance to generalizations. At the senior level, the attributes for success involve personal responsibility. Grind in the practice room. Grind watching videos. Grind on strength and conditioning. Healthy mind. Healthy body. Be diligent while your competition is sleeping. Be humble and grateful. Have heart. Challenge. Confidence. One on one. Create and execute your plan. The result of the match is on my merit alone. The most dominate (often entertaining) wrestler is the most liked wrestler. Wrestling is one of the oldest grittiest sports. Wrestling is strongly aligned with right values. If we took a survey, which politics would align with these statements? People that agree with the first five will skew left. People that agree with the last two will skew right. There is room for everything in between. Underdogs and minorities should be spotted 5 points. The wrestler won/lost because they have one leg. The loser should have their hard raised and be given a participation medal. The loser lost because the rules were biased against them. The loser lost because their training environment was unfair. The loser lost because they did not prepare as much as the winner. The winner won because of their merit.

He was scheduled to visit Colorado State next week.

So was the Starocci thing a fluke...???
Jimmy Cinnabon replied to The_KC_Godfather's topic in College Wrestling
Not even tabloids picked up the story and they’ll print anything that is even mildly reputable. Daily Collegian was literally the only media outlet to run the story which is super weird.
